Hi, been vaping for about a month. Nearly off of cig/cigars all together after 17 years, so.... yay!!!:vapor:

My current setup is a 1000mah ego pass through battery with with either a Kanger T3S(2.1ohm) or Protank 2 (1.8ohm) depending on my mood. I have found a few flavors i like, but they all end up in the fruit spectrum and blend together after awhile. Part the fault of the local store i go to as most of their stuff is fruity.

I have a 1600mah VV vision spinner 2 (eventually plan to get a better pass through VV later) on the way but was wondering how can i get more flavor out with my current equipment. Im content with the amount of vapor production and have no intentions producing huge plumes; at least not obnoxiously in public, i just want to keep my nicotine.

My current juices are all 50/50 with 24mg nic. I haven't tried the 1.8 coils in the T3S yet, but i do seem to like that flavor out of it more than the protank. Maybe that is due to the acrylic tip.

Any suggestions?

Well my suggestion for more flavor is get a more powerful variable wattage battery and start building on a rba (rebuildable atomizer) nothing beats the incredible flavor you will get from a rebuildable. I promise this! Once you get a taste of a rba, you will never look back! The best beginners rba in my opinion is the kayfun lite. It's super easy to build and it's a flavor monster!! The best way I can explain it is like putting candy in your mouth! Yes the flavor is THAT good with a good build. You will need a bit more wattage from a battery to correctly power your rba. But if your after flavor, the rba is absolutely the way to go. Hope this is helpful. Best wishes.

When I first got my T3S it came with a 2.1ohm coil, and I was using an EGO C Twist VV. After the coil burnt out about 2 weeks later I rebuilt it to a 1.75ohm. Produced a little more vaper but upgraded the taste. I ran my EGO between 3.5 and 4

What gauge wire did you use, 30 gauge?
And did you rewick with silica or cotton?

The setups you describe should produce a very nice vape, good reliability, Finding the flavors you like can sometimes seem like an impossible quest...(it can be done ..:))

First realize your taste buds are still recovering from your smoking career, it can take a while. I found my tastes continuing to change for well over a year, flavors I like became terrible, others I couldn't stand became favorites. (ones you don't like now, keep in a box for the future)

Second be sure to drink a lot of water, vaping can dehydrate you, runing flavors.

Third is the dreaded vaper's tongue, you taste buds seem to stop working altogether. It can be caused by using the same flavor so much you lose the taste completely. Again drinking water can help, and switching flavors back and forth during the day also. Helps keep your taste buds fresh.

p.s. Welcome to ECF!! .:toast:

If you dont mind spending $25-$30 the new Nautilus mini is putting out great flavor compared to any setup, (near RBA levels) and outstanding flavor for a clearomizer.
Also, the MVP suggestion is a good one, but personally I believe that the tank is more important than the mod.

Nathan, Edyle is asking for important info to help you:)

Yes i figure i will end up there eventually. I like my current setup as its easily portable in my pockets without much worry. Im a natual tinkerer of all things, so the rebuildables will be my friend down the road i think. It will just be the logical progression. Thanks for your input. I will keep it in mind.

Im thinking about dumping this current tank i have and putting in the 1.8ohm coil in the T3S with the newer flavor i have. In the protank the 1.8 seems metally or something. But it could be my dehydration. Im not known for drinking water, if you get my drift :toast:. But that is in the past too now.

Im moving to the VV mostly because it was recommended to me for the T3D i am getting, and i want to try that setup all as one new experience compared to the T3S and basic mod.

Once you have vv or vw you can adjust your power to the coil that you have; when you don't have vv or vw, you have to pick and choose the coil that works best with the liquid and wicking that you use.

For the long haul i'd suggest the glass tanks.
