Sour tasting juice!!!!!

Okay so I went to my local vape shop to pick up some jungle juice(one of my favorites), And I also saw a straight cinnamon flavor. Tried it and loved it. Ive been vaping on it for about a week or less. But I tried hitting some jungle juice the other night and it just tasted sour. I thought it might have been the bottle I put it in so I tried my buddies, same thing. I tried a couple other flavors here that we have and all of them just dont taste right anymore. I know it has something to do with the cinnamon but do yall have any other ideas of what it is or how I can cure it? Because I really dont feel like vaping cinnamon only the rest of my life. Cheers!

I can't speak to the particular eliquid you're using from your shop, but orange juice and such can taste sour after brushing your teeth and stuff. In toothpaste, it's caused by the detergent/abrasives messing up the sweetness recepters, and stripping your tongue of phosphilipds which normally block the molecules in the orange that sense bitterness from reaching the receptors. I can't say I've noticed it with cinnamons that I've tried, but it could be whatever is being used in that local eliquid is doing something similar.

Hi and welcome to ECF!

How long have you been been vaping? Did you use to smoke?

I used to smoke, and when I started vaping, I had to get really strong-flavored juices so I could taste them. One of my favorites was a sour juice. As my taste started to return, that juice got way too sour. I had to mix it with some milder juices. Just wondering if that might be what's happening in your case.

Hope you find the answer and Happy Vaping!

I smoked for quite awhile. I believe 5 years. I started vaping little crappy juice at first but i also smoked cigs at the same time also. I quit cig but went right back to them after I got my ipv3 and some delicious juices. Cig free for about 3 1/2 months now. But Ive had vapor tongue for a bit now and cant seem to get it to go away. With it ive been able to taste certain juices but now within the past couple days its just out of whack.

It took me about 4 months before my taste started coming back in any appreciable measure. Of course, I had been smoking quite a bit longer than 5 years, but the point is that it takes different people different amounts of time to recover. We're not all the same.

Even now, I get occasional Vapor tongue, but it's much less intense and doesn't last as long. What the others have said re: keeping hydrated, smelling coffee and switching up flavors will help
