Hi everyone!
So I decided to experiment with spaced coils today, and I was wondering what advice everyone could give me(I.E. technique, wire gauge, wraps, wicking) I found that a dual 22g with 4 wraps around a 3/32 bit works well, but I'm open to any ideas.
Thank you all :D
Also, here's a photo of the build described above.

Try wrapping your spaced coil parallel to another gauge wire. Then remove the wire you used in parallel to the bottom wire. It'll give you even spacing every time and you can use different gauges for wider or closer spaced coils.View attachment 469813

24g wrapped parallel to another strand of 24g that I pulled off to make it a spaced coil
That's what I did, but I did end up tweaking it when I put it in my rda, but thank you! :)

That idea of parallel wrapping and removing one of the wires is kinda brilliant. The other popular method I use is wrapping on a machine screw of the diameter you want. Then you thread the coil off the screw and have a spaced coil. What I do then is put the coil on a screw driver of appropriate diameter and compress the coil to create tighter, but still even, spacing.

wha[GALLERY=][/GALLERY] also, what is that build coming out to? Ohm wise?

thank you! I'll have to try that out, sounds like a more efficient method :)
