An update to my quest for mintiness...

I opened the vape Wild Wintergreen and Fruity Freeze.

Vape Wild Wintergreen - stronger than the spearmint, a near perfect mint in my opinion. I don't need it stronger or mintier. In fact, I was thinking when I order this again I'd get lower nicotine since it has enough throat hit and it such a pleasure to chain vape. Fresh feeling.

Vape Wild Fruity Freeze - not as minty as I expected, since it was in their minty category, but it does have a bit of a cool exhale. The grape/berry flavor is awesome, tastes just like one of those Hi-Chew candies from an asian grocery. Also smells great. My GF asked what I was vaping because it smelled good. This is probably going to be one of my staple all day vapes. I love it. A friend of mine tried it and thought it had a lot of mint flavor, so maybe I'm vaping too many other mint flavors to notice as much.

The Fruity Freeze is only a 3mg nicotine, and I really like it a lot. I'm thinking of stepping down all my nics, from 12 to 6, or maybe even 3mg. I upped to 12mg before getting the Kanger EMOW kit, but now it gives me much more vapor, and I don't think I need as much nic per puff. Plus with such great flavors, I'm feeling more inclined to take a few extra puffs every time I lay eyes on the vaporizer.

I'll toss in a vote for Vape Wild Spearmint. ordered last Wednesday, arrived Saturday, tried it today. First draw was incredible. Really good. All the ones after that seem a bit muted, like the mint is still there but some of the sweetness got lost. This is, of course, the first spearmint I've tried, but it definitely has promise.

I feel like that has happened with all the mints I've tried. The first few hits are like chewing the mintiest gum, but then the sweetness gets a bit muted, and the coolness doesn't linger as long. My guess is that it's probably the coil getting coated in burned sugars. I've only used the mints on Kanger dual coils, so it's hard for me to know if it's the juice airing out or the coil going. Could also be a side effect from the liquid in the tank warming up... also hard compare without another method.

Of all the mints I've had so far, my first tank full of the Vapor Bomb spearmint was the absolute mintiest. It minted up my whole car in a matter of a few puffs. My GF actually liked the way it smelled in the air. But within a few days I felt like it had also died down.

Maybe the key is to freshen up the coil more regularly. I find I have been using them for about 5 days and then replacing. I haven't had any coils burn out or even give burnt flavor, they just start producing cooler vapor that feels more like water on the exhale and has less flavor.

Just a crackpot theory based on this article that came up http://........com/ok9lsyv -

The main objective of the present work involved the study of the inhibiting
properties of natural product as Spearmint plant extract as a safety and an
environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitor for low carbon steel

maybe it coats the coil, cooling it's overall output.
