I just started using the UD Zephyrus V2 that I picked up cheap and I'm digging it. Dual 0.3 coil included, rebuildable deck included, Ni and clapton coils available. Plus it's top fill. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it's a keeper. Might be worth checking out...

So, not the Indulgence MT? I've seens the review and this is a big machine. However, while my istick should have enough watts to work well with Indulgence MT, it requires some experience I guess?

Two_Bears, I really appreciate all the tips and the list you gave me! My decision is to look into Kanger Subtank mini (as a starter), Goblin Mini, Silverplay Nano, Ohmega Nano. My only question right now - did you use the last 3 with the istick? If positive - will they work fine with the configurations from my post 7?

Cant recommend the Indulgence MT when i never used it and have no credible comment.

I used the istick40tc with the Goblin Mini. A few months ago i sold my istick40tc to a friend.

I vaped the Goblin Mini and silverplay nano on my istick60tc without issues.

The Advken Ohmega nano was only vaped on my eVic vtc Mini but should work great on an istick providing it has proper power to heat the coil(s)

I apologize for the question, but isn't that strange that you use subtank with the 1.2Ω build? I'm just curious since always thought that sub ohm tank should be used at the lowest ohm resistance possible, no?

Not at all. There are a lot of different coil heads. You can go sub ohm you can vape at 1.2 ohm, or 1.5 ohm.

Kanger introduced the ssocc heads that are backward compatible with temperature control if you have a mod that is TC compatible.

Then the rba. I wrap coild at .78-.84 on my sister's subtank mini

I got few tanks that I run under 60W all day, Youde Bellus, Youde Zephyrus V1 and Advken Ohmega Nano. I'd say go for Bellus or Ohmega Nano, if you want a good, tasty, flavorful vape that works well with ~60W mods. Bellus goes for about $30 and Advken Ohmega Nano goes for ~$15. The Ohmega nano also comes with an acrylic bellcap, so you can use non-tank crackers with a good looking bellcap tank.

Bellus is quite easy to wick and build, but so is Advken Ohmega Nano. There's no "best RTA" as far as I concider, as everyone has got their own "taste" when it comes to tanks and drippers.

Yes, I just read about it, and Kanger Toptank Mini supports it if want be. So, considering that this is the offspring of the Subtank, I would probably jump to it. Then would consider the following from the replies in this thread:
Lemo2
Billow V2 Black
Ehpro Billow V2 Nano Black
Geekvape Griffin RTA Black
Goblin mini
Goblin V2 - Black
OBS Crius v2
Silverplay Nano
Advken Ohmega / Nano - Advken Ωega
Velocity RDA
Velocity Mini
Original Freakshow RDA
Veritas RDA
Aqua v2
Geekvape Griffin RTA Black
OBS T-VCT + RTA Black
UD Zephyrus V2
Youde Bellus
Cthulhu RTA V2
Indulgence MT - for later

Perhaps someone has anything to say about the list, something odd in here?

Veritas is a huge pain in the ... to build, especially for beginners. Marquis is similar and comes with coil rods to hold the coils in place while you tighten the leads.

Same for Aqua V2.

I personally would go for a Velocity if I was getting my first RDA, and possibly a Bellus for the first RTA. Both of those are quite easy to build on and wick properly.

It should ask if there's a new coil. Then apply new settings.

I'm using a subtank mini on the istick and it's working very well. Started out with Kanthal A1, then NiCr wire, moved on to Ti, then SS316L, now back to Kanthal. Tc, VW, Twisted, claptoned, you name it and the stm will take it. Very easy to build on.

I've only tried a few tanks mentioned in this thread, so you'll get my subjective opinions on them. I've sold or given away most of them, now using only the subtank mini and wotofo serpent. This is my list of what i tried, not chronologically but best to less good:

1 Wotofo Serpent - great taste, great airflow
2 Subtank Mini - supereasy to build
3 OBS Crius - cracked the insulator when adjusting center pin, easy to build coils
4 Griffin - weird ring that holds the cotton
5 Lemo 2 - nice topfill
6 Goblin v1 - small, unhandy screw for filling, get the v2
7 Taifun GT-T v2 - easy to build, lots of taste
8 Kayfun Lite Plus v2 - decent mtl tank with good taste
9 Orchid v4 - tastefull dual coil, needs a lot of power
10 Uwell Crown - airy semi-mtl tank, easy to build

Maybe start out with a stm and a serpent, then later add some dual coil monsters to it. I'm a single coil dlh tank vaper, i'm sure there are many mtl quad coil dripper vapers out here who can help you with their experience.

You're using a MELO 2 right now, right?
A new rebuildable coil is out for that. Maybe something to try.
Eleaf Melo 2 RBA (ECR Head) - Eleaf Coils - Eleaf - Tanks & Coils
Thanks mate, I've been using this ECR head for around a month now. However, for some reason it started leaking at the bottom, this was one of the reasons to move over to the fully RBA tank. Silverplay is what I use for 2 days now with the Istick TC 60w. It has a different taste, and somewhat smell of burning, will try to fix this by wicking properly.

Thank you for the list and your notes on the tanks. Will keep this in mind. In the meanwhile, have a question on the Serpent. How do you use the liquid controller? Over the web they say something that you can control the liquid input from 100% PG to 100% VG. What's that thing?

Most welcome. There's a ring on the outside at the top of the tank that you can twist, to open or close the cap that surrounds the coil, regulating the juiceflow. I suspect it's the threaded chimney you twist, that lifts that cap. Not sure about the exact functioning of that mechanism however, since it's all pressfit, the glass tank aswell, so there's no way to take it apart. Unless someone will some day xray it, it will remain a deep, hidden mystery to mankind, or at least to me.

Good one, but I think it's a speculation on nothing. At least for myself I've figured out, that sometimes people tend to exaggerate the use of some small features (that can be even no there) in the device. I did quit smoking with the ecig, and probable just trying to find a COMFORTABLE device, that's it, nothing else :)

I'm going to recommend the UD Zephyrus V2, comes with an RBA, top fill, 6ml tank, been using mine for 2 weeks, no leaks, no hassle, comes in black or silver, good vapor production with subohm coils, good flavor, nice and airy (adjustable bottom only).

Most of their stock coil heads fall within your devices wattage range (unlike the newer subtanks crown, herakles plus, tfv4, etc). 20-80watts I believe.

Best part, the RBA it comes with allows for an easy horizontal dual coil setup. Do a search on youtube, one of the reviewers did one.

Only downside, I don't like the looks of the tank...but looks are subjective.
