Although it could save me a few bucks, I don't bother with 100mg nic liquid. I just buy 24mg and add flavors so I don't have to bother with the extra step. Depending on flavoring percentage, I end up with something between 18 and 22mg. I'm not fussy about the nicotine level so this method works for me.

I make all my mixes 60/40 24mg I was thinking of taking my 100mg nicotine and cutting it all down to 25 mg @ 60/40 then basically all I would have to do is add whatever percentage flavor to it does anyone else do anything similar to this and if so how does it work out for you

Absolutely.

I call it making "Pre-Mix". It has a Lot of Advantages. Like not having to Handle 100mg Every Time. And not having to Wash a bunch of stuff whenever you make 30ml of Finish e-liquids.

I did the Math one time for a Vendor I get my Nicotine Base from. By the time I added the cost of Buying PG and VG to Dilute the 100mg Nicotine Base down to a mg that I could vape, the cost of just buying 24mg or 18mg Wasn't that much different.

And as you mentioned, it is a Whole Lot Easier.

that would be ok if all I wanted was to avoid handling 100mg but it still leaves the extra steps of measuring everything instead of just the flavoring

Making a Unflavored "Pre-Mix" works Great if a person Always uses the Same PG:VG ratio and uses the Same mg Level.

Just add Flavoring/Sweetener and go.

But making Pre-Mix doesn't work well if a person uses Different PG:VG/mg ratios.

I have found this process pretty easy for me, so I don't have to handle the nicotine each time and it is easier for me to measure at larger numbers.

I get 60mg Nic and combine it with PG/VG to get it down around 12MG. I leave 10% of PG out, for flavoring wiggle room.

For example, I do a 50PG/50VG mix and store in a 60ML bottle. I will then add:
30ml VG
12ml PG
12ml PG with Nicotine
That makes 54ML and leaves me 10% room for flavoring which is PG based.

I will then usually make juices in 10 ML increments, which means I will measure 9ML from my base bottle and then add flavorings around 10%. If I add more flavoring than 10%, it will cut my nicotine below 12MG but I'm not that particular as long as I'm around 12-6MG
