I've gotten a great deal more experienced with spelling words correctly since writing in numerous forums ;)

I use FireFox, and often when I do not know how to spell a work, (i.e. the red squiggly line is scolding me), I just open a second tab and look up the word via google. Nothing wrong with it, I've found that I spell much more efficiently from doing so :)

MS, in all it's 'wisedoom' dropped spell check for IE8... and Win7 doesn't have a decent 'search'. Ergo, Fire Fox for me!

I tried Chrome when it first came out and found it lacking...I have it installed on my Linux laptop now...it's come a long way!! You might give it a shot...

I agree, my spelling has greatly improved since I have been writing in the forums. I get in a hurry sometimes and don't catch a mispelled word even if I know how to spell it. LOL I guess with out the spell check, it does make us better spellers. I drive my wife crazy, asking her all the time how to spell a word. Whew, I got thru another post, and hope the spelling is ok.

I use firefox as well-
when i see the red squiggle, i just right click it and it gives me a list of what i might have been trying to say to begin with...
this browser has raised my sporadic minds incomprehensibility to now somewhat comprehend able-

and i only had to fix like 3 words in that blurb.

Works great in Google Chrome.
Thanks for the heads up about Google Chrome. I do have that and sometimes I use it, and other times I just use regular Google. So now the squiggly line comes up that tells me the spelling is wrong. I spelling is so bad somethings that the spell check doesn't find it, like squiggly. LOL Thanks again, made my day. So the reason the spell check worked sometimes and not others was the difference between using google and google chrome. Mystery solved and again thanks for all the suggestions.
