So, I'm about to place an order and, in addition to the eRoll, I am trying to decide between a set of Spinners, eGo-C Twists, or Kanger Evods. Are they all pretty comparable? I can't find a ton of info on the Kanger Evod batteries, though that set-up appeals to me most for purely aesthetic reasons.

Mostly I want a decent mid-sized pv in a nice range of color choices. Something pretty but not necessarily bedazzled. Also, can you recommend the best site to order the Evods from, if that's the direction I go? Suppliers seem limited, still.

Any other suggestions are welcome too! I've been out of the vaping loop for awhile and just don't know all the gizmos and gadgets available to date.

Thanks in advance!

The Kanger Evod rates the highest in clearos (for me), so try one out for sure. I got the eRoll for my wife, it got her off the cigs but she moved to an eGo battery within 2 weeks so eRolls are ok but require too much attention as juice capacity is very low and tanks need to be changed often. Good luck and try the Evod for sure.

I actually think it was the picture of your wife's Evod that made me start lemming for it! A red set? The eRoll just looks so.....light and dainty. I have to give it a go.

As for my avatar.....yes.

The Spinner and Ego-Twist are set up so you can change your voltage. It really can make juices more flavorful to play around with the voltage of a battery. The Evod battery is a standard ego battery, meaning that you don't have this option. Personally, as soon as I got used to an ego, I was hunting for variable voltage one. The evod may have more color choices (which I get, I have just about every color of Kanger's MT3's), but the spinner and the twist have more practical uses.

Both the spinner and the twist have their fans. Haha, I actually have the Winder, which is smoketech's version of a variable voltage battery. Thus far, I am very happy.

I think these are very nice, and they are better looking:

Here's my blue one, been working like a champ, dropped it like 8 times already in the past month. I'm currently running this and the MVP as my regulars....

I love the finish on this! Smooth but not slippery at all, this blue shows no prints. Been using it with the Protank, no worries!

Spinner all the way. The knurled dial at the bottom makes it easier to control your voltage and you can actually see the numbers on the spinner but as for the twist. It's really hard to see. Also for the vision spinner you have the option of getting the 1300 mah battery opposed to the c twist only being available up to 1100 mah

Thanks for the input, y'all! So far the Spinner seems to be ahead by a large margin. MyVaporStore offers a pretty decent deal on the kit, also, so I think that is the way I'll go. I recently acquired a VV, an eGo-V V2 (well, two of them), but it's such a beast that I was looking for something less conspicuous. KerryK, what is the model in the picture? I don't recognize it, but it is a nice finish. I really like the idea of protanks, but see broken glass in my future due to my innate clumsiness.

What KerryK posted a pic of is the Smoktech Winder - Smoktech Winder (Twist) 900mah - Blue

I'm thinking the SmokTek winder is made by Vision. Picked up a 900 Spinner from them a few months back, and the only disappointment it's given me is that that it's not a whole lot smaller than the 1300s... :glare:

Only a tad shorter and a bit thinner diameter, but I was thinking it would be small enough for stealth...

In any event, it was sold as a Vision, labeled with SmokTeks logo, dial and markings like a Vision, and the word then was that it was a Vision Spinner branded for Smoktek.

Have about 4 months on it (in rotation with others) and works like new. So, imo, if you decided to go with those, you'd have a good VV battery.

You can easily get the best of both here - get a Vision Spinner VV. They come in 650 for a more discrete size and you also get some choice of color. (I haven't seen them in the lovely dark 'EVOD-red' though). And mount a EVOD clearomizer on top. The EVOD is my favorite clearomizer on any ego size battery - due to bottom feeding, perfect flush fit and ease of use.
