I'm assuming you are talking about rebuildable coils? You're talking about spaced coils I'd assume. Don't know so much about spitback (although, thinking back, most of the spaced coils I've used don't tend to spit back, I've only ever had it with contact coils. They will also work great in TC.

Kinda confused about the original post....
Spitback comes from too much space between wraps and the juice is just getting boiled, not vaporized then straight up the mouthpiece. Too much airflow along with sucking like hell trying not overheat that subohm build also draws raw juice up the mouthpiece. Too low of power also produces spitback from again not properly vaporizing the juice. Vertical coils are another culprit of spitback.
The space between wraps can be minute..I can just fit a business card between my wraps but there is still space.
