So, I know some juices can crack tanks and cause discoloration and wear rubber out, but I've never seen what I saw and experienced tonight. IMG_00000197.jpg

I poured in my blueberry juice and as I was screwing the top tank back on I started seeing cracks appear in the bottom tank. I actually watched as more cracks began to appear. I'd seen pineapple/peach crack my iClear 30 so I was thinking, "this sucks! Oh well, I've seen this before." Next thing I know, before I even get a chance to screw this on my PV, pieces of the bottom tank are falling out of the whole thing and ejuice is everywhere! What you see in that pic is the pieces of the tank and I didn't have to even unscrew the tank before it was totally in pieces.

Has anyone ever experienced this?! Is blueberry that corrosive a flavor?!!!

Is it worth it to buy spare tubes and does anyone know if there are aluminum tubes like they have for the Vivi Nova? If it's the flavor, is it just as volatile on my lungs?

Here's the weird thing; I used the juice in my boge CE4 that I got from the same vendor. It's the cheapest CE4 I could find. The CE4 had 60ml run through it over the course of 2 weeks and there's not even the mildest of cracks in it. I hesitate to name the vendor simply because I don't want to cast aspersions - this vendor is probably my favorite vendor of equipment. In fact, he said that 10 seconds was ridiculous and refunded me the amount of the item. He normally doesn't do that for clearomizers. He made the exception simply based on the time. I didn't think to inspect for cracks before I filled it. However, I did admire it before I filled it and didn't notice any obvious cracks and certainly nothing that would cause this crumbling.

My son had that happen with a C4 cheap tank and used it just a few times with some fruit mix, same thing happened. Yet he used a T3 tank with fruit in it all the time and no problem. In regards to the aluminum tanks, aren't they just aluminum over a poly(?) tank?

Some fruit flavors are more volatile than others.
You can buy all aluminum tubes for the vivi, the svt or Neptune are just sleeves that cover the poly tube, I've got both.
