Finally followed the advice of many here at ECF (most recently, Meatsneakers) and sanded the electrical contact points on my Natural and my wife's stainless steel Telescope. . . . . . . The Natural showed marked improvement on the vape: quicker pickup and fuller vape.
The Telescope . . . . . WOW! I can't believe the difference AND this mod, when cleaned up, is The A--kicker! From ok to amazing! All the parts (contacts, not body) were brass under there, and the plating was very thin. Quick, easy, and the vape is like I just dropped $150 for a seriously nice mod, or like Christmas, or something.
EDIT: I should clarify that we've had the Telescope since Christmas, so I'm sure the difference in performance was even more marked than if you sanded a new one, but I have been cleaning it, so . . . .
