How often do you squank? How many times do you squank the bottle when you are squanking? Do you pulse it or hold the press for a few seconds? I get the feeling im not the most efficient squanker yet in fact i just had a dry cotton hit as i type this lol

I squonk every 3-4 pulls, more often for coils below 1Ω or if my wick tails are very short.
A squonk is a smooth, even, moderatly slow "press"...Press you bottle gently until juice floods your wicks, release the pressure slowly to draw the excess back into the bottle.
Pro tip: Remove your drip tip and watch the action... You will have it down in no time.

I never squank. Not even sure how.
I do, however, squonk about every 3 hits on my REO though. It makes a difference what wick I am using, and how much of it is in there. I use a cotton bed sub ohm, so I need to a bit more often than when I used a long wick threaded through the coil. Nothing worse than burned cotton, but nothing better for me than a nice cotton bed on my coil.

Squonk and watch the air hole when you see the first glimmer of juice through the hole stop squonking and give it a dry puff to suck the juice down away from the air hole. Hit it 2 or 3 times and repeat.

I have only had my Reo for 4 days and the above method works the best for me.
Initially, I was removing the DT to view the incoming juice, but as time passed, I became a bit more confident that the juice was indeed being delivered to the wicks.
You will be Squonking like a pro in short time.
I typically squonk before every hit. I don't like gambling with dry hits. Like mentioned above, I just watch the airhole for a glimmer of juice, hold for a second or two, and let go.
chain vaper here as well so i am squonking every 2 to 3 hits.. I put constant pressure when i squonk for a 2 count ..no pulsing required..

Thanks for the tips i havent had a bad hit since following this advice. I will make sure to squonk in public and maybe keep the squanking to myself!
