Squid Double Barrel 3.0 - What am I doing wrong?

So, I just got the Squid Double Barrel and for the life of me, I cannot get the battery door closed once I put the batteries in. No problem at all closing it without the batteries, but with the batteries, nope.

I know several people just got this. Is it just me having this problem?

Any ideas?

Note: I'm thinking the springs are too tight. I'm also thinking that if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. lol

18650. Specifically, the Samsung 30Qs.

I finally got the battery closed with one in. I'm just going to let it set overnight. I'm hoping it will relax the spring a little bit with 8 hours of a battery pressing against it. Then, I will take it out and do the same on the other side, if I still can't get both in at the same time.

Does this sound reasonable? haha

Hi,
My friend had this problem and he fixed by losing the two screws beside the screen little bit. And the Samsung 30 qs work fine with you due to the positive side is flat as i know

my squid mods both started out with battery doors that were very hard to close. both eased up with use.

I ended up sending it back yesterday. They eased up a bit, but no longer would latch at all, without a battery in there. I didn't feel like playing russian roulette that it wouldn't latch with batteries in there either, soon.
