SR attys on the Woodvil

I forgot who, but someone posted a few days ago about standard resistance attys on the Woodvil.

Well I have two woodvils and they both have 2Ω Cisco 510s on them.

Just for kicks I tried a 1.5Ω again on one of them. WOW ... way too hot.
(I used 1.5 ohm on the Grand all the time)

So that got me thinking ......

I pulled out a brand new SR atty from the eGo kit I won at vapefest.
Popped it on the Woodvil with the Gorilla juice in it.
Wow, it tasted great.

I know the Woodvil is too hot for my Boge 2Ω cartos too.
I have been meaning to get some 3Ω Boge cartos to try on it.

But now I think I might have to stock a few SR 510 attys too.
Going to roll with the one I have on for a while and see how it holds up.
Its a terrible looking red one to match the eGo batts

Moral of the story ..... yes as said many times, the Woodvil runs hotter than a grand with the same AW IMR battery.

Yep It's that Voodoo Mojo Rob puts on them I tell ya! I am running a 2 ohm atty on mine and I told Rob last night it is a little warm on my woodvil. I even put it in my review that the woodvil makes even a standard atty feel like LR.

Yes, definitely a standard atty is an LR on the woodvil. I use an EM 2.0 from Liberty-flights.com and it is really nice on the woodvil and I've never had one of them die on me- been using one for over a month!

I will say in my defense that I have a wicked sore throat right now.
That might have something to do with why I am enjoying the 2.3Ω standard vs the 2Ω Cisco.

As soon as I get my throat to quit bleeding I might be bummed with the performance.

BTW, I think the sore throat is from chain vaping for 20 hours straight on Saturday (Vapefest)

Well its back to the Cisco 2Ω for me ..... Don't know why I ever strayed !!

I just killed one of them in less than 24 hours.

For comparison sake only 3 Ciscos have crapped out on me in the last 5 months.

Maybe Frank is working on a 2.2 ohm version.

I am going to pick up a few on my next order.

I have been using the 1.8 510 on my woodvil and like it, but have gone back to my Ultrafire battery's on my woodvil.

I may try a standard atty this week with the IMR's to see how much juice I can get through on one battery.

Are those "Cisco Spec"? I get very confused on avidvaper about which attys are Cisco's and which are "normal" attys, or are ALL of their attys Cisco attys?

No they are not. The Cisco spec ones are marked pretty clearly I think.

yes they are all marked clearly on the bottom ... its easy to tell if there cisco attys...

I'm afraid that its just a Joye (or god for bid a SLB) that you can get for 5-6 dollars somewhere else though.
He is pretty pricy for attys that aren't his.

Liberty flights has Joye SR attys that should be 2.3Ω for 6 bucks single i think.
I know they were 28 bucks for 5 last time I looked.

yes they are marked on the very bottom Cisco Spec tho using the word "cleary" is a word this ol' poor vision man wouldn't use.

Mine are stamped "CISCO LTD. 306LR 1.5Ω"
