SS Choice No.7 Micro

For my first e-cig I was kind of rushing into things, and did absolutely no research prior to ordering my first unit. I clicked on the first link which popped up on Google, which happened to be ecigaretteschoice.com and ordered their basic Micro Starter Kit, which came with 2 Batts, 2 Atty's, 15 prefilled carts(variety), and of course a wall/usb charger. Once I placed my order I happened upon this forum and was quickly disappointed with my choice after reading several other posts regarding this particular brand of e-cig. I was a little dismayed when the product showed up from fed-ex, but I still wanted to give it a shot. Packaging was very nice, with a hinged box with a cushion lined top and foam rubber insert containing 2 batteries and an Atty in a blank cartridge. Underneath that were 2 compartments one with a velvet lined lid containing 5 prefilled high strength(18mg??) carts. They also sent me another 10 prefilled variety flavors. The battery screws firmly into the atomizer and the whole thing feels very sturdy overall. The draw is moderate if you cover up 2-3 of the intake holes around the atty, and the subsequent vapor production is fairly decent given the size of the unit. With long, slow draws I end up with a fairly good throat hit and decent flavors from the prefilled carts. Battery life is around 2-3 hours of fairly constant vaping, and with the extra battery I have yet to be unable to continue vaping. All in all I do not regret purchasing this e-cig although at $69.99 it is a bit pricy, but it certainly did a good enough job to bring me into the world of vaping knowing that this is something for me.

I ordered one of these first as well, the stealth model. I thought I would like the one with out the led, but I was wrong.
I never got much vapor from it and also learned that I do not like auto batts, and quickly switched to a manual 510 and now an EGO. I handed the No 7 off to one of my friends who wanted to try vaping and he loves it. had it about a week and his only complaint is that it doesn't have a led so he is never sure if the battery is dead or he is out of juice. those batts do seem to last a while for him. the 2 batts last him all day.

I do not know what the number is but it is not a 510 as the threads on the atty are different

is it not a 306 atty?

The atty threads are an odd size. I have not been able to find any other mfr's atty that fits. They just came out with their own brand of cartos, which actually make my old E7's usable again. The biggest problem is the cost. at ~$5 per carto (they come in tubes of two), they're way too expensive. The SS Choice website says they're not refillable, but I've refilled mine (CM) about 10 times so far with no problems. At least that gets the cost a bit more managable. Not my everyday vape (510), but a decent back-up now that I have some usable cartos for them

Have to ad my exsperience with the No7 again...I have been using the No7 now since Aug of 2010. This is the unit that got me to vaping. I invested in one Stelth kit and one micro set. I have yet to have to replace an atty. I did have one batt die on me. I have to say the two ego units I have are not keeping up with the No.7 . Not sure if my two 510 atty's are about to kick the bucket. But they are not producing the vapor that my No7 does. And to be honest I've actually gotten to lazy to have to keep pushing the button on my ego..lol so now I use my No7 as my primary vape. Only if the batts lasted as long as my ego battery I'd be a happy girl...lol

I know it gets panned on here, but two or three weeks in, and I love my No.7 micro (stealth). Because it's my first model, I don't have any others to compare it to. I get good vapor (clouds of it), but yeah, it'd be nice if the battery lasted a little longer. Two batteries do me fine--just need to make sure that I charge whichever died right away. My biggest gripe on the stealth is what someone else mentioned--trying to guess if my vapor disappeared because of a dead battery or needing to refill the cart. The more I use it, though, the easier it gets to guess correctly.

I still use mine, and my wife still uses hers. The biggest gripe I have is the cost. Compared to other PVs on the market, SS Choice are overpriced. They work fine, they just don't work fine enough to justify the inflated price.

I am also trying to figure this one out. Which atomizers have you tried? I've done some visual poking about and the ones it looks visually similar to are the4 m301, gammicci, and a couple others. It will fit rn4081 cartridges, but the atty is different, having no shroud around the bridge and being otherwise longer.

UPDATE: i have yet to confirm it but my research indicates the no.7 most likely uses uses a DSE103 atomizer much like the gammucci.
