They only good thing I have to say is that their charge pack, which is as big, if not bigger than an analog pack, has a great little directed beam flashlight on the end. You could use it to change a cart or refill and bother no one. Would someone let me know if it compatible with my 510s?

It's more than likely a DSE902 (proprietary DSE901). As I said in previous posts the only thing unconfirmed about it's model number is tha I have not yet held an example of the non-Eluma 902 in my hand.

So no- it is not 510 compatible.

First of all, just let me say that I ordered the big starter kit - non menthol - 11mg. At first I was so thrilled that I signed up to be an affiliate. Yeah, the flavors were pretty weak but we all know what to do about that. Anyway, less than two weeks after I got my kit I realized that I had a bad battery...

There is no such thing as personal customer service. What you get when you call is an 'operator' who tells you that customer support is handled via email to save money. As an affiliate, this concerned me greatly. So I wrote them an email asking for a new battery. They advertise a 100% satisfaction guarantee but as I soon found out it has loopholes you could drive a truck through.

After sending my email to every contact address I could find, I got a total of nine identical automated emails. Finally After a few days, someone called me back. I then spent about 20 minutes going through a 'troubleshooting' session where he decided I had a bad atty. I know it isn't the atty but there was no arguing with him.

I asked how to get it replaced. He said I needed a return authorization, (there is a handling fee charged for this,) then I needed to return it and if they decided that it was a manufacturing defect and not caused by my having carried it in my purse or shirt THEN they'd send me a new one. Every single return is reviewed this way. How can you fight that?

Can you say corporate with a capital "C"?!?

I tried to find out more about the company and he was very cagey. When I asked him if I could call back as a journalist and interview him about Eluma it seemed to throw him. Then he offered me a $10.00 credit to just order another atty. I'm sure they'll charge me the $7+ dollar shipping fee.

1708699Bottom line: don't waste your time. Basically it is an auto 510 with so/so flavors - worse for non-menthol. Vapor can vary from cart to cart as does the amount of vaping time. There is nothing special enough about it to warrant the hassle over defective parts and the guarantee is worthless as there is no way to prove you didn't put it in your pocket or purse.

I don't expect them to stay around very long. Especially when there are so many great suppliers out there who really care about repeat business.

I am revising my review a bit. Actually, as far as the product is concerned, a lot...
The Eluma is a good product and for first-timers it is a no-hassle way to get started. Middle-of-the-road vapers would probably enjoy it, too. And while we have 510s, Riva, H16 and a Defender(coming soon), I find myself falling back on the Eluma. The carts don't last me all day but maybe because I am a former 2PAD'er and, as others have stated, the vapor can be inconsistent but for something to grab and go, I'm liking it more and more.
I did finally get my $10 promo code for the bad battery/atomizer after a couple of more emails. They say both the batteries and atomizers can last up to a year...
So what I did was to order their $29.95 kit to add an extra battery, atomizer, USB charger for the car and a couple of packs of carts at a higher nicotine level to see if the flavor changes. And decided to stay an affiliate although I warn everyone about the poor customer service and returns rigamarole. Their prices on spare parts is pretty good anyway and orders over 29.95 ship free.
As far as refilling the carts, my attempts have been so-so. Eluma claims theirs hold 3x the liquid but I couldn't get more than 6-8 drops in. The carts are two piece and I haven't yet taken one apart to see how it works. Maybe there is a way to make them hold more. If so, I will post in the appropriate forum.

If anybody else has experimented with them please PM me.

As we are beginning to see, many of these companies are buying from China and re-branding to keep the ignorant ordering only from them. I don't know enough about other models to say this is what Eluma has done so again, if anybody out there has done any successful comparisons, let us know.

A word about vapor on the Eluma: the carts are foil sealed and this can cause a couple of problems. First, the foil can lay on top of the bridge causing it to overheat atty and not get liquid. On several occasions I have found large bits of foil in the bottom of the atomizer and this can cause overheating. The cart filler is flimsy so check to make sure it is up near the top. Almost every cart I have had to fiddle with it to make sure it vapes right so now, as someone else already suggested, just us a pin and tweezers or something to remove the foil before you use it. I'm guessing the foil is just cheaper than plastic caps...

P.S. If you decide to try Eluma and wouldn't mind me have the affiliate credit, please PM me and I'll send you a link. :)

I've switched from Eluma to Vapor4Life. I passed my Eluma along to a friend. It worked ok for me, it did get me to quit smoking. As time went on I was frustrated with the atomizers and cartridges. I switched to a 2 piece. Not really anything specific to the Eluma but in the end I preferred the 2 piece design and not having to keep cleaning and replacing the atomizers.

Wow, didn't notice this when I first posted, wasn't able to go to the Elumacigs website... but the Eluma's flavor cartrige packs are almost the exact same design as the Blu's... almost like they bought right from blu and re-sold them lol. Specially the fact that the carts are foil sealed just like Blu. I do realize, though, that Blu is probably just a re-branded Chinese model. But anyways, they have the same website design as well.
Examples:

And BTW, the Eluma is DEFINITELY the same make and model as the Blu, exact same.

I have the Eluma and I just checked out the Blu site. Totally different atomizers. In fact, I have never seen an atomizer that looks like the Blu. Blu also says that Johnson Creek makes their carts (same price as Eluma but according to Eluma, contains 2/3rds less juice). Maybe if somebody asks, Johnson Creek would say whether or not they do the Eluma carts.
I went ahead and ordered their kit -$20 cheaper that EC - to compare and I'll check them out side by side. They send menthol carts whether you want them or not (I didn't) so that will be a whole new vaping experience for me altogether!
