yea sorry i pasted the wrong on first, I think the O ring is the insulator for the centre pin and you will short the batt out if its not there, I could be wrong but i dont think so proceed at your peril my friend, there are 2 O rings in there as the pic shows and this will keep the pin central

i think the oring's there to prevent leaking from the CT to the batteries.. well, only 1 broke so there's still one for now. i was thinking on ordering a pack of o-rings when iatty comes out, so i dont have to pay double shipment fees.
ill wait for imeo to come and give his words about this.

hope there's no problem on using this like this for now.. it works, normally :x

Yes good idea waiting for Imeo, but ask your self why 2 O rings for leakage, and centre pin is positive and body is negative, just my thoughts

you should be able to find right size O rings local to you so you can use it

edit @ valt, I think you are right i had a good look at mine and the O rings seem to to centre the pin and stop leaks
