I've seen one othe post and there was no answered question so can someone please help. I am using 400 ss mesh for a Nobel 1. Rolled it oxidized, burned juice on it, everything I've ever read on ss mesh watched every vid, but everything I do I can not get the mesh to wick up to the coil, if it wicks at all it is very slowy wats going on

Assuming you're using a geny style rba, high vg juice will not wick nearly as well as high pg. If your using high vg, try creating a straw-type wick with a hole in the center... by rolling it up around a straightened paperclip or the like. Also, while it is not the case 100% of the time, as some setups can actually wick too well, it is typical to have to tilt the pv upwards when vaping while keeping the air hole facing you, letting gravity aide in the wicking process while you vape. Often, I'll keep the pv tilted while I'm just holding it to keep most of the wick submerged between vapes.

You can also try using a thinner diameter wick, as a wick that fits very snuggly in the wick hole can inhibit the atty's ability to 'breath', and create sort of a vacuum which inhibits juice flow up the wick... or even choking it off outright if it's very tight. Good luck.

the wick looks very tight and all that oxidizing and juice burning junk helps clog the pores even more.

when you roll it make sure there is a small space in the center. doesnt have to be a tube just enough for like a paperclip or sewing needle to slip in easy then just try to oxidize the top part under the coil and also if the wick is resting on the bottom of the tank cut the bottom of the wick at an angle to help absorption. shorts can be worked out with pulsing instead of overoxidizing.

if high in vg maybe move up to 500, the wick very rarely looks wet, it shouldnt by any means be all drippy and soggy. when you make a new wick and fill the tank watch the wick real close, you can tell if juice is moving up because you can see it get darker as the juice comes up.
also if on a mech you may have to tilt once in a while while firing to keep it wet.

notice how dry the wick looks.

It is a Nobel 1 hybrid so yes gen style atty, 50/50 pg vg mix. I've rolled countless style wick trying to get it to soak up. The tilting thing works ok but it seems like it defeats the point of it if I have to tilt all the time and I've watched vids of others wick just flood with juice as soon As it makes contact with the juice.

Well, the tilting thing has always kind of been the nature of the beast with genys... a small price to pay for the crispness and rich flavor of the vape, imho. I'd say there's 20 geny users who have to tilt at least some for every 1 guy who doesn't. I think alot of folks using ss wire rope are the one's who don't have to tilt - actually I've heard they often have to keep the hole up side so as not to flood. I've been there too with my RSST a few times with it's wide wick hole. But you might like to explore the wire rope option at some point. Stormy'svaporcellar has some in stock now.
