I just received my ss vamo in the mail. I am not pleased at all. For one, the one I got looked used with scratches , especially around the top. Inside the top where the 510 connection is, it looks like someone was trying to force a kanger t3 in it or used some kind of adapter and really scuffed it badly in there.

Now my question is to those who have the SS version. Is the whole body completely ss? What I mean is,the one I got in the mail had the top chrome plated and the 18650 tube chrome plated. Is this what it's supposed to look like? I'm not mentioning the vendors name until I get a response from them first. I want to see if they fix this issue I'm having with it looking like it's been used. Granted this mod is not expensive, but paying $50; you'd expect something new, not used

I figured it'd be all ss. What an utter disappointment. Not only was it a used Vamo, it was a modified one. Even the 18650 is cross threading. Hopefully they will exchange it or give me a full refund. Overall though other than the cosmetics of it, I am very impressed by this vamo. I have a provari and expected something cheap looking, It feels very solid. It performs great.

I just don't understand how a vendor can send something in this condition to a customer. This is not acceptable at all. :mad:

My vamo is my fav! I never go anywhere without it. Yes its all ss and a fingerprint magnet but its awsome!

Even a fabulous vendor can make a mistake. I've seen posts from people who have received problem Provaris from Provape. Your issue might have been caused by something as simple as a new employee grabbing your VAMO from the pile of VAMOs being collected for a manufacturer return rather than the pile to be shipped to customers.

Also, there is a possibility that the manufacturer shipped the VAMO in such a sorry state. Manufacturers, good and bad, have been known to ship faulty goods. It is understandable that you would be upset but wait to judge until after you see how your vendor responds to the problem.

Well the vendor responded to my complaint. They apologized asked me to ship it back to them and they will inspect it to see if they should replace it or repair it. The emailed me a prepaid first class postage label. Now I am glad that they responded quickly. I'm still kind of .......

I paid for priority mail to have it delivered in 3 days. $5.50 Had to buy a package envelope $0.94, pack of label paper $5, and new ink for the printer (because the damn epson won't let me print anything if one color is too low. $13. Now I have to wait 3-5 days for them to get it. Who knows what they will decide to do or worse scenario, they run out of SS and have to wait til they restock. Then wait another 3-7 days( this is counting the weekends ) since they will probably send it first class. All this because I wanted to save a few bucks and taxes instead of just buying it at a local store. Whatever the outcome is, I doubt I will purchase anything from this place again.

Who knows, maybe I'm just in a ...... off mood right now and sleepy. I tested it out a little and really liked the performance and now I'll have to probably 2 weeks before I get to enjoy it again unless I end up getting another used one.

Yeah I was kinda cranky last night when I made my last post. It didn't help when I was at Walmart at 10:30 p.m, waiting in a line of 10+ people with just one cash register open. I just needed to purchase 3 items. :facepalm:

I am sorta glad they emailed me back, what annoyed me was the first class postage instead of priority. What irks me is the fact that the item was obviously used. I could tell right away that it was used. The top section is so dinged up, you can see the brass under the chrome plating. When it was opened from the bubble enveloped they mailed it in. It was in some flimsy cheap plastic, the kind that my ego twist came in. Here's some pics I took of it before I mailed it back this morning.

I'm sorry if my ranting is getting redundant. I just need to vent a little. In truth, I more angry at myself for trying to save $10 when I could have just drove up to the brick & mortar shop. Now I got to wait a week to see if they will even replace it.
