Ok, I did not want to put this in the tank forum because there is nothing wrong with my tank. I installed another ST 1.5 (dual punched, as was the cartomizer in question) in it earlier today and it is vaping just fine. My question is more about the longevity and signs that a carto is bad, and possible ways to bring it back. I know a lot of people say they only last a few days, but my buddy with the same set up (ST 1.5ohm dual coil in a 3.5ml tank/ Vtube) has been on the same cartomizer for 3 weeks, and the ones before that lasted for weeks as well. We both use DK-TAB from Madvapes, so it is a fairly thin juice.
So here's what happened,
Earlier today I noticed the "bad" cartomizer was getting harder to draw on. I usually am able to draw with little to no resistance. Soon enough, I noticed how hot it was and the disgusting taste of Chinese juice in liquid form soon followed. Basically what I am wondering is if there is anyway to bring it back to life. Would maybe cleaning it work? I know they are only $2.29 each, but I have been a dripper for over 3 years and am used to paying $5.99 for an atomizer that works for months (usually).
I am curious if anyone else who uses DCTs experiences the same thing with a cartomizer they have been using for a few days, or over a week. (On a side note, I bought the Vivi Nova V2 because I like the idea of being able to rebuild the components that make it tick)
Thanks for the input! Happy vaping!
