Stainless Cartomizers and Batteries

Regarding peeling the paper cover off the cartomizers; seeing the silver layer of paint over the plastic gave me the creeps. I keep worrying that like so much from China, the silver color contains lead.

Does anyone here have a lead test kit? I'd hate to unnecessarily be trading a smorgasbord of carcinogens for lead poisoning.

Is it plastic? It feels like thin sheet metal kinda to me.

I took a sticker off my cart and just rubbed and rubbed till the goop was off, as i didnt want to get up from my ECF surfing lol.

Not full on chrome...but a great silver sheen.
