I think this mesh is used in the Volcano because it is designed to blow hot air through plant matter that is held un a basket type holder any liquid would just leak through the corse metal mesh so if you want to use a liquid you need a fine mesh to hold the liquid.

As for using it in the atomizer. It can't be used in place of the fiber since it would short out the heating coil.

I would think filling a nice big say 801 cart and cutting this pad to fit tight on the end of it might work really nice and this way you could hold a ton of liquid in your 801 cart. I am going to buy 2 of these and give it a shot. I have used 2 pipe screens to slow the liquid down and that has worked well also but these are specificaly designed for this it seems. will let you all no as soon as I give it a shot when I have then

Using it to fill the atty would probably make the draw of air through it (while filled with liquid) really tough, and if it came into contact with the cart would probably melt it.

Using it to fill the cart would probably leak and would also probably heat up and melt the cart.

Just my presumptions. Guess it can't hurt to try with proper caution.

Couldn't this material just be the same as the nickle foam in atties?

Of course thats why I posted it. I guess I wasn't clear, I cannot imaging using it for anything else in an ecig. I wouldnt put it in my carts.

Bagazo, you may be the only one who realizes this is probably a good substutiute for mesh surrounding the coil.

Hi,

Sorry for my English, hope you will understand me...

We are a few people on the french forum who have try this liqui-pad to replace the "coton thing" in the carts, and that's the best mod fot the cart we ever tryed !!! (straw, adp,...)
You must try this, that's incredible.

Those liquid-pad are made by Storz & Bickel for their Volcano Vaporizer, and made for vaporize liquid between 104°F and 446°F, so no problems whith the temperature of our e-cigs.
Once in place in the cart, it doesn't move.
You can place a lot of liquid in the cart, this more easy to fill the cart, and the liquid pad make his job very well, better than the carts we buy. (10/12 drop in a 510, 20 drop in a 901, and 25 drop in a Mega-510).
And you can vape all the liquid, since the cart is empty.
No suspect taste, just the taste of the e-liquid.
And it's solid, you can wash it, and replace it in the cart.

The only difficulty is to separate those liquid-pad disc in 5 or 6 piece, before fill the cart.

2 topics in french on our forum and a video who show a 901 cart filled with more than 20 drop of e-liquid:
Arf, I've not the permissions to post some links to other sites...

If your French is as nonexistent as mine, you'll want to use Google translate to decode the site.

Thank you Romain - my French is tres mal!!!

For some reason - the links do not work for me. You can post a link as plain text - replace the "." with "DOT".

Thank you very much for posting here - if ecig users unite worldwide we can protect our rights.

I agree it might, but not sure of it's retention/release capabilities. The Incofoam is cast replacement of a regular foam, so it has excellent qualities in that regard - I am experimenting with another substance but it'll be a week or two before i am confident of the results. Will post here when I find out.
mahalos for your help!
