stainless steel boge , taste ?

I ordered some ss lr boge cartos to use for my j-tank,

is it just me or has anyone else experienced a weird flavor from them.

my black ones taste fine. the ss that came with my tanks taste fine,

but the new ones i got in all taste horrible....
could it be a bad batch ??

their feeding fine but ... i detect a strange flavor.

i went through 4 cartos with two different flavors- same weird taste

help me out guys

I use the exact same ones, but did not notice any bad taste in them aside from when they get near the end of their lives, you know the burnt taste. Maybe you got a bad batch?

I used to use black Boge lr's when I used an ego. Several months ago, I switched to using stainless Boge sr's in a tank on a VV pv, and I have detected no strange taste at all.

I knew that there shouldn't be a difference, but you never know.
