Yes @Bakpau it's a scubagen v3. Someone gave it to me and it's turned out to be really enjoyable.
Had to drill out a bigger air hole, but other then that, it works like a dream.
I managed to get 1mm ss cable from my local hard ware shop. Neighborhood variety.

Why would you want to use cotton with wire?
Ppl use mesh with wire so to have a more lasting wick & clean taste.
Cotton on the other hand are easy for change out.
But the combination of cotton and wire???

it's good to experiment with different combo to find out what works best for you..@nuvole I don't have mesh at the moment, and what I have is what is best.

You just need some tiny little piece to wrap between the wire and the coil.
Thanks for the advice @nuvole, i'll try it when i get my hands on it. Went to a hardware shop yesterday and the guy quoted me $40 per meter square. It was huge and I definitely don't need so much. Refused to sell me half a meter so I also refuse to buy. LOL
