Hey guys! Hoping maybe some of the vets here that have been using clearos longer than I have might be able to help me out. So, my everyday setup is a kanger protank 3 on a V3 AFC (basically makes it an Aerotank2) - it's a super solid build EXCEPT for the tank. I'm always paranoid about the glass tank breaking a0nd I had switched over to the stainless tank from my wife's Aerotank2 for a bit but not being able to see the level of the juice is a pretty big issue for me. I find that I have to do a pretty full clean out on everything each time I open the tank up (remove the atomizer, clean out the AFC, wipe down threads) or I get gurgles and with no window there's no real way to tell how much juice is in there. I run at fairly high wattage on my VAMO v6 (11-12W) using 1.5 ohm kanger made dual coils (gonna start rebuilding soon!) so those times where I accidentally vaped my tank dry pretty much guaranteed my coil would burn out.
Anyone know if there is a stainless tank available that has a window to monitor juice levels? I've seen em on some of the more advanced mods and I'm thinking I might be able to find replacement parts for those, just not sure on the fit. Anyone have any experience doing that?
