Stale juice ??

Husbands having a hard time making the switch. I filled up a tank for him and a week later he says it tastes bad.
This is not the first time he has had this happen.
Can juice go stale if left in tank too long?
I change/refill on a pretty regular basis and it's never happened to me.
I would think it could be coil but it was only a few days old when I filled it up.

Yep, once it is in the tank with plenty of oxygen around it will deteriorate quickly (usually a day or 2 I've noticed) once it changes color it often ruins the coil as well.

What size tank are you using? If I fill my 5 ml Nautilus all the way up, it starts getting funky/discolored when it's about half empty. I'm blaming the constant heating and cooling of the liquid as I vape. I don't have the same problem on my smaller tanks.

I've left some juice in a tank that I don't use much for over 2 months and I recently vaped it and it tasted fine. So I think it goes stale. I mean, it's exposed to oxygen has soon as you take the lid off the bottle.

He is using the aspire k1 clearomizer
Maybe it's the heat? I change my juice enough that I've never had this problem.
It's happened twice to him both times he barely used it but carried it around for at about a week.

12 nic level.
First time was ripe vape's - coconut Thai.
This last time was teleos crunch. (Cereal flavor)
Neither I would consider a custard?
I washed out the crunch tank this morning and filled it with unicorn milk tasted ok. So don't think it's the coil.

I rotate 6 different tanks. There's definitely times I go days without even touching one. They're always fine when I come back to them.

The juice is not going to go "stale" sitting in a tank for a week, if it goes from good to bad it's from the wick/coil getting dirty / burnt which tends to happen more so with your sweeter flavors or laying it sideways for a period of time and taking a long pull .

I've had juice go from clearish yellow, to red in about 2 weeks. I later found out that my screws were rusted, and the rust was being transferred to the juice. Thankfully, with a little common sense, I knew not to vape it.
Anyhow, yes, juice tends to age much quicker in a tank. Hence the reason why I never use tanks that hold more than 3ml of juice. Consider giving him a dripper.
