Standard Ego Battery voltage question

They say the Ego Twist is supposed to hold its voltage until it dies instead of tapering down like some batteries do, does the standard ego batteries do the same?

Also I have ordered some Kanger xl 2 ohm cartos for my Ego Twist. Are these good to use on both kinds of batteries?

Also how can you tell if you are getting a genuine Ego and not a knock off or a clone?

Some Do and Some Don't.

If a PV is said to be "Regulated" than it will hold Constant Voltage for it's Battery Life.

It's Very Hard to say what is a Real eGo anymore. The word "eGo" seems to refer more to a Class/Size of PV now more than an Exact Model.

If it is a genuine joyetech ego battery it is regulated at 3.2-3.3 volts and will output that voltages from full to empty.

The ego-c upgrade battery offers the same regulation as the normal battery as well as an unregulated mode which will put put full voltage around 4.2 at full charge and drop off as you use it.

The ego twist will hold whatever voltage you set it at until it dies.

I can't speak for the clones or fakes as I have not used any of them.

How do you know you're buying a "genuine joyetech"?

I’m sure no back alley Sweat Shop in China would consider Silk Screening a Joyetech Logo on the bottom of some Cheap Knockoff eGo.

That would be Dishonest.

I just got the vision ego spinner from Madvapes...was going to get a standard ego battery but on the side it looked like the had the word "Smok" on it? Did that mean it was a clone?

My Joyetechs blink green every 5 seconds on the charger. I try going to the Joyetech website where they list their distributors, and buy from them.

They've quickly cloned the Twist already, but the switchable (regulated/unregulated) Ego-C Upgrade might still be original.

I'm not sure is a Joyetech mii eGo really exist, I got mine @ eGo Mini Battery 350mAh - NettMix Custom Vapes
