Standard/Low Resistance

Would someone be able to shoot me in the right direction or possibly explain to me the differences between low/standard resistance on atomizers and clearomizers?

Ohms are the measurement of resistance. 1.5-2.0 ohms would be considered Low-Resistance (LR) AND 2.1-3.0+- ohms would be Standard Resistance (SR).
ANYTHING above that would be high resistance (HR)
