Ok, what is the standard for weighing diy liquid? I've been putting for 1 ml = 1 gram. Is that what every does unless you want to get technical with .9?

I use recipe calculator and it just says by ml not weight (I lie it does by drops) too damn bad it can't figure that in automatically based on weight
Which calculator are you using? I have 2 of them and both have weight as well as volume. Also, with both you can specify grams per ml for each liquid.
I have found that all my PG, flavorings,distilled water and even my 50/50 100mg nic all weigh close enough to a gram/ml for my comfort to use that as the standard. My VG, on the other hand, is always 1.34 grams/ml.
so do you do that with little batches or all the time? and if you do for little batches how should I figure that into my calculations?
I mix by weight for all size batches. I just input those figures into ejuice Me Up under Tools -> Grams Set and then mix accordingly.
Thanks, That's what U use? That was my first calculator then downloaded Juice calculator. I can use ejuice me up then export to juice calculator I never set the weight . Didn't even know it was there I have a long way to go and that's why I ask a gang of question. Thank You for hipping me to this.
It is only helpful if you are using 100mg nic in VG. 100mg in pg weighs around 1.03. Substantially less!
What's the advantage of mixing your DIY juice ingredients by weight?

I use either method, depending what and how much I'm making.
I make a concoction for Mrs Rule which is a Peppermint/Menthol. Nasty stuff, but it's the only thing she vapes. The Menthol and Peppermint is death on syringes. But mixing by weight, I can use dropper bottles or disposable pipettes, and mix directly into the bottle. I usually make 30 or 60ml at a time. She is a very light vaper. No cleanup, and no ruined syringes.
For myself, I make 6mg/ml unflavored, usually 120ml at a time. There's not much difference whether I mix by volume or weight. Cleanup is easy.
Mixing by weight is so much simpler this site shows the ml and grams and just been using it since I've been doing weight
