Anyone else loving this game? Im not a big fan of RTS games but im still a big fan of starcraft

Yeah, I'm diggin' it. It is pretty much like the original in many ways. Better graphics. Don't understand why it took so long to release. I only play strategy games.

Dunno, its FUN and im a fan of the original but....
15 missions complete in 6 hours?
I stopped playing for awhile, one more stint and ill be done! That and it really seems as if NOTHING has changed. The cutscenes are nice but the gameplay is almost EXACTLY the same.

haha i myself am a game designer and one thing you gotta know is that making all teams and classes different but equal is a very painful task. im sure it took a lot of time, and im sure they set out for it to be another pro game which makes it that much harder

Hard.
Just used the same techniques from a lifetime of gaming and strategy games, and its just the same, but different.

Im not basing the game, I do like it I had just hoped for, maybe more DEPTH in the actual combat side of things. More strategy and less zerginess maybe. It feels like they took the fast-but-hero based gameplay of warcraft 3 and just reskinned it with smoother graphics and lower level but more heros. (mercs)

And avatar was the best selling movie ever, doesn't mean it was an excellent film, just a flashy fun remake of Pocahontas in Space.

Consumer sales rarely give a fair benchmark as to a products quality (Twilight?!).

true , im not a big RTS fan but its one of the few that i really enjoy
