Stardust question

So, I have a couple of ego's from volcano, they're awesome and relatively new, but the cone section isn't threaded. Their inferno cones slip on and are held on with an o ring. It's a pretty sweet design. Will this keep me from using the stardust without an adapter? I currently have and love the stone v2, but man those stardusts look sweet on egos. I don't want to have to buy new batteries or adapters on account of the newness of these batts.

They screw on the 510 connector. There are no threads on the cone part (bottom) of the Stardust. It just goes over the threads.

Works fine with my inferno. Works fine on my dongle which also doesn't have outer threads. Should work fine on yours.
