Ordering some goodies:
Short or long wicks in Stardusts?
Thought I'ld also order the new rebuildable.
I have a S.S. Vtube from Apollo,it has a built in Ego adapter.
But I guess it doesn't work as it's suppose to.
I'll need some adapters, but not sure whicjh ones.
I have a Vivi Nova,but it won't fire on the S.S..
I have a regularVtube and it fires fine on it.
So,what to you recommend?

I tried the 1.7 stardusts that were floating around in the past. Yesterday evening, I pulled the trigger on 4 of the rebuildables and a few replacement heads. I really liked that resistance on the 1.7 stardust, and I expect that this revision will be the best for a while- especially since they can introduce long wicks for the replacement heads and you effectively have 6 different ways to use one device. Pretty nifty.

1.8 ought to be just perfect for ego batteries, with the higher resistances great for KGO's and onwards.

Yet you could still use those 1.8 heads on a KGO or similar 3.6~-4.2 unregulated device- I plan to, since the 1.7's I tried in the past worked quite nicely on them.

If your stardust refuses to fire, try putting one of the 510-EGO adapters on it. A 510-510 extender would also work, because the ego adapters can actually get stuck in the stardusts if you over-tighten them. You may also try using a jeweler's screwdriver flat-head to gently raise the center post up higher than the adjacent post (these are the positive and negative terminals, if they're both the same height it's likely your battery won't fire them or it may be shorting out, so it may need adjusted...again, gently), but if it doesn't move with gentle force, just stick the adapter on your battery and thread the battery onto the stardust. It'll fire, then.

A note on short vs. long wicks:

It really depends on what juices you vape, and I don't think there is a consensus on just how to decide... Try both, I say - then you'll know. :)

Me, I only use short ones - but I'm a bit superstitious, and those are working for me, so I'm not too keen on changing it. LOL
