Started today and very excited

Researched these boards and youtube videos for about a week before I ordered a couple Joye Egos on Monday and received it today (thanks CigNot!). Also ordered extra juice and a drip tip.

Trying the cartridge (Marl/High) that came prefilled with the Ego...not quite the taste I was expecting, but then again I am not sure what I was expecting.

Anxious to get my feet wet with different flavors and VG/PG blends.
So much information...thanks to this community for helping me so far and I know I have much more to learn.

Hoping to move to blending my own juice someday and then explore all these mods.

Welcome to the ECF community. You made a great choice for your 1st PV. I would suggest visiting one of the ECF juice suppliers & ordering a bunch of sample size bottles of juice in all of the flavors that appeal to you. FreedomSmokeUSA is an excellent supplier that provides great juices & excellent service. Once you've found a couple of juices that you enjoy, buy them in at least 30ml bottles or larger. Hey hey! Congrats on getting your new PV and welcome to ECF! IMO, you couldn't have made a better choice for your first PV. What I like about the eGo is the battery life and the connection. 510 kind of seems to be becoming the 'standard'. Just about any mod you see comes with a 510 connector. The eGo has so many options. You can go regular atty, LR atty, mega atty, mega LR, Tank, Tank LR, mega carto, regular sized carto (Boge LR's are my fav), and on and on... IMO it's the most versatile PV available. I personally don't care for the little carts that come with it, they don't hold enough juice and they can't keep up with me (I burn 'em)... If you have any trouble look up blue foam mod on youtube...

If you're looking for some good tobacco flavors, try Vapor4Life 'WoWBacco', Backwoods Brew 'Casablanca', MyFreedomSmokes '555'. Backwoods Brew also has several other tobacco flavors that are just fantastic, everyone here raves about them.

I think if you tried the BWB Casablanca in a Boge LR cartomizer on your eGo you would be very impressed.

I hope you ordered some juice with your kit. Prefilled carts won't last very long.

My fave PG/VG blend is 70pg/30vg and occasionally I like 80/20 for more TH (lets through nicotine's harshness better). I have some 50/50 juices because those particular flavors were only offered 50/50. The V4L WOW juices seem to me more like 80pg/20vg? BWB is 70/30. FSUSA offers a variety of PG/VG on all of their Flavor Range juices.

My fave juices
Backwoods Brew Casablanca (complex Turkish blend w/ cocoa and I add more cocoa)
Backwoods Brew Vanilla Bean - subtle but I vape it alot
Vapor4Life WOWbacco juice (lotta cocoa + tobacco, or their WOWboy also adds a bit of mint)
Vapor4Life WOW Vanilla (sweet vanilla) and WOW 555 (sweet nutty tobacco) are also nice
FreedomSMokeUSA - Cocoa (strong, non-sweet, awesome mixer with tobaccos to cut sweetness and add oomph), oRYental 4 (a light sweet caramelly RY4 tobacco), Vanilla Tahity (a buttery smooth vanilla w/ maybe almond? A good mixer and I alse use BWB Vanilla Bean as a mixer - with a few good mixers you can really vary a tobacco or other juice)

I really like BlueMist Vaping, and I have yet to beat the pricing there.

I generally go for the 80-20 mix, and extra flavor as I am using an eGo-T

Currently vaping the Robacco Menthol as I was a menthol smoker

I think the EGO was a great choice also. I have a few expensive Mods and the EGO is used more ... You will love it!
