Hello!
I just started thinking about vaping. I smoke only once or twice a day but I prefer ditching the toxicity. I'm looking for a compact vape that has airflow control. I saw the Kanger Evod Pro 2 and it look like it could suits my needs. Could you guys recommend me a good starter kit that comes all-in-one and has airflow control? Thanks!

*Forgot to mention - I prefer MTL with small clouds

Well, you've dove in at the right time my friend. Currently there are many AIO (all in one) mods.
Tube style AIO:
Aspire Pockex, Wismec Motiv, Joyetech evic AIO tube
Box style AIO:
Aspire Plato, Joyetech Egrip2, Joyetech evic AIO Box

These are just the ones that come into mind but I'm sure others will chime in for some more. Most of them have internal batteries that are rechargeable via USB, but if your battery reaches its lifespan, which could be a year or more, or for some reason just dies, you will need to replace the whole mod. Some have replaceable batteries, but you will have to buy a battery separately. The only one that I know that comes complete with a replaceable battery is the Aspire Plato.
Hope this helps.

-I forgot to mention that I like the MTL way better. I like small clouds (BTW what the resistance of a coil is best for that?)

-I think I would prefer the internal battery and not replaceable, but it's not a deal breaker.

-I saw some bad reviews about the Eleaf Icare and Joyetech's

-The Aspire Pockex seems nice but I don't see it has airflow control.

-Wismec has several nice options like: Motiv, Vicino, Vicino D30 and Venti.
Also, the eLeaf iJust 2/S looks pretty good.

It is really hard to choose from such a large selection!
Can anyone recommend one over the other?

I would suggest the Ego One Mega V2 for several reasons.

1. IT IS an all-in-one kit. Meaning that you get everything you need in the kit. The "AIO" devices are just that... all one piece.... if one part breaks you throw away the entire device and start over.
2. This kit comes with an EXCELLENT tank! The tank has a large variety of coil options available including a rebuildable version of the coil if you get interested in that at some point. (Huge cost saving and ability to build the coil to your exact preference)
3. Very good airflow adjustment.
4. Variety of colors and sizes available.
5. The tank will work with most any modern mod if the battery should die or you just decide that you want to upgrade at a later date.

Here's a link with a decent sale price.

Here's a thread devoted to the Ego One tank and the optional CLR (rebuildable) coil.

I've never owned the Ego One full kit but the V1 tanks are my favorite tanks on my mods of choice. Only difference between V1 and V2 is less exposed glass.

I can only tell you about my experience with the Plato since that is what I have. If you use the 1.8ohm nautilus coils or the 1.8 ohm triton mini coils, you can get a pretty good mtl experience with it. Although replaceable battery, you can charge via usb and since it is a single 18650 mod, it should not be a problem charging through device. Also, if you ever want to DL vape, you just switch to the Plato coil and your good. Lastly, if you break the glass, its replaceable.
