Hi, I started vaping to quit smoking almost 3 years ago. I don’t smoke anymore, but use vaping like smoking. I am not after large clouds etc. I currently use an Aspire Nautilus on an eLeaf iStick 30Watt. I use the mod at 7 watts and the coil I use is the 1.6 ohm BVC coils. I am looking for a new set up and have been looking at the new starter kits out there. I am a little nervous that some of them are designed not for what I am looking for, but just for large clouds. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have been looking at iStick Power Nano 1100mAh 40W TC Starter Kit, eVic Basic 1500mAh 40W TC TCR Starter Kit, and the Target Mini 1400mAh 40W TC TCR Starter Kit. I know they all come with tanks so looking for the best of both. Thanks, any help you can offer is appreciated.

my philosophy in most things...If it ain't broke don''t mess with it :D I vape a lot like you and when I needed a new battery or 2 or 3 I just bought backup istick 30 and 40 watt batteries. I found the type of topper I like and bought lots of backup of that type of topper. For me an istick 30 or 40 watt topped with a gs-air just plain works.

You can get an iStick Basic Kit that comes with the 2300mAh battery AND an eLeaf GS Air 2 tank, 2 GS Air coils, a 510 connector, an eGo connector, a USB cable and a user manual...all for $9.95 at Kidney Puncher! It's kind of unusual, because the tank sits inside the mod, and is held there magnetically. Any 14mm tank will fit inside it, too. Is a set-up that would still meet your needs as far as the type of vaping you do.

Here'sa link to it: iStick Basic Kit 2300mAh

Could always use your Nautilus on another battery, and you'd then have a back-up set-up, too. Could use either set-up as your main one.

Or just get 2 of the iStick Basic kits and look for a battery for your Nautilus later. That way you'd already have 2 complete set-ups! For $9.95 each...it's hard to beat. I bought several myself to put in my "stash".

I tried to jump on this offer the first time I saw it but alas, it seems KP won't sent to Arkansas :( Only the liquid is affected here but some stores don't seem to understand that :-x It is a very good deal though.

Stupid question, is there a big difference from the 1.6 ohm coil to the .75? Will I have to lower the watts from the 7 I currently use? Thanks guys, appreciate the help

I actually works the other way around. The lower the Ω's of the coil the higher you set the wattage. I set my isticks to 7-7.5 for my 1.8 or 1.5 Ω coils but set it to 12.5-13 watts for the .75 Ω coils. I prefer using the higher Ω coils in my gs-airs.

There is a big difference in them, as the .75 is subohm. However, various ohm coils are readily available for that tank. I don't use the .75ohm ones myself. I gave them to a neighbor and got some higher ones that I like and use.

I found the other ones that are 1.5 so that should work. Thanks again guys, big help
