I'm amazed by my vaping journey so far!

It's hard to imagine just 3 weeks ago I thought e-cigs were ridiculous, very nerdy and funny looking, and overall not cool at all.

But then one day I was curious at a local convenience store, and bought a blu disposable.

couple days later, Moved on to the Blu original Starter Kit,

Decided I HAD to have a mod so bought a VMX 6v really cool mod from the local store..
Decided I HAD to have variable voltage so bought a ZMAX
Decided the Provari looks really cool, and the vape is awesome, so I just picked up one today, with a glass tank, which tastes much better!

probably spent about $1k on vaping in just 3 weeks, more than I would have spent on over a year of analogs!

Its just so nice to not be smoking analogs. I feel so much healthier!

hoping to slow down on buying stuff but i'm probably about to get into juices and maybe even more mods!! It really is a lot of fun, but I had no idea this would turn into an expensive hobby so fast...!!

LOL !!! congrats on quitting ! i know the feeling I quit 2 months 7 days ago started with cheap knockoff ego set then a better ego set ( better batteries) oredered a ego twist then got a EVIC then a Vamo( Love it !!!!) and now looking real hard at the provari's and lets not start tallking tanks and clearo's and carts a glass tank I have no idea how to use yet but will learn LOL !!!
Then the juice OMG the flavors started at 24 mg nic have since worked down to 12 mg nic and hope to be at zero soon. And through all this forgot all about analogs . Its a great hobby and the people her on the forum are awesome and the vets here will give you the good bad and the ugly on anything you might think you like LOL !! learn from them it will save you a ton of cash . Congrats and keep Vaping !!!

Yeah we all do it. What's that? What's that? What's THAT. So worth it though. I have my device my Vamo, I have a few simple spinners, I have a mechanical, but I want a better one (six month gift to self). I have my delivery system K Pro till I get into building and I have a few good juices. I'm over the hump you would say in spending for now.

Sounds like you just might have hit it too. Good luck and vape on.

Happens to most of us! It's fun & addicting! I've finally started to slow down but I went through a really out of control juice buying binge after getting my PV hunt down! I downloaded an app that lets me track my spending & so far I'm still in the hole but not too bad! As long as you can afford it & it keeps you off of the stinkys I say go for it! Welcome!!:toast:

Thats me right now. Little over a month of vaping from a PAD. However, the price of a pack here in NY is ridiculous so i'm still in the black, for now.

I'm still using eGo's and love them....but lately....as in the past week i've been on a Juice binge buying samples from.......everywhere :(

Woof, I know what you're going through. I've spent $770 in one month going from a Volcano starter set, adding a couple of eGo-c Twists, then a cheap mech mod, earlier this week it was a Provari and a second ProTank, tomorrow it will be more juice and maybe an evod if I can find one. Gonna save my pennies for a top end mech mod soonish, and gonna try a sigelei vmax and a vamo. Looking at a steampunk mod as well called a "Lil Steamy". Yeah the list goes on and on. Gotta also get into some RBA's, probably start with an AGA-T+ and poke around with some other Genesis-style RBA's. Then there's the cool looking vape pipes... Oh and the iTaste MVP... oh yes, I need to get something to squonk because that looks different... And...and...and.... Good grief, is there a vaper's anonymous somewhere?!

I just got a Kayfun 3.1 and I gotta say its better for flavor and vapor than a geny. I still love all of my genys but I can take the kayfun anywhere its easy to fill no leaks. Id say its just a little more of a pain to set up over a geny but not much and so far Its bare non the best flavor of anything I have. Its like a dipper with 4.5mls of hassle free dripping!

it adds up real fasssst...and we all know how fast lmao... but stopping me from smoking analogs is priceless.... started ego twist then eVic now in search of a nice bottom feeder then a mech mod... i end up dripping most of the time .... tried carto tanks.. rba dripper... rba genesis style... then back to dripping again... so maybe a bottom feeder will seal the deal.. mech mod will be for emergency =)

Oh gosh.. i know what you mean!! It has only been 2 months for me :(

I am indeed spending a whole junk of money at once buying all these mods. I started off with a cheapo ecig and then bought an eVic. Then i decided i needed a spare ecig because the eVic runs out of battery sometimes after too much vaping. So i went out and bought an iTaste vv and then i bought a smoktech bolt.. Geez.. and finally now i want my first mechanical mod.. the Omega..

Im like.. Woahhh how did i spend so much money in such a short period of time! :( To me the Omega will be my last straw. I will wait maybe at the end of the year to purchase something else. Meanwhile ill just be buying me juices ~

I am really hoping to control this craving! I have to stop buying! :(

Great job on your quit Mjs :toast:

I finally have nice set ups (biggie for home, smaller for public), lots of nice RBAs, favorite DIY recipes, wire and wick. THEN I come here and see all the "NEW" toys. waaaa waaaa I gotta try em, or think I do anyway. Just when you think it's safe to go to the ECF (Jaws music)... a new toy comes out! But it's getting cheaper, I am pickier about what I buy and spending less (crossing fingers).

And you are right, SexySod, smoking wasn't nearly as fun!

I'm trying desperately to keep things under control for once. Normally I'd have been in the same boat by now. I've got 1000's in tools and toys in the basement. Remnants of current and past hobbies litter our house (my wife is guilty as well, but I'm worse).

However, we're both off of the analogs and that's what really matters.

Now, if I can just keep myself from hitting that order button at Wizard Labs, and talk myself into dumping the virtual carts full of DIY modding supplies....

It's a losing battle, but at least it's fun!

Congrats on quitting for 3 weeks, been a week for me. :t

As far as $$, I'm at ~250... but should have enough hardware to last me for, well, couple of months anyway-- IF I can resist some new toys. Probably should stay away from here, right? :)

Now, it's on to finding the right everyday juice.

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely take a look at it.
