Starting to get the whole wood box thing

Starting to close in on the wood box mod.
The first 2 pics are a simple box, million click switch 1 inch by 2 inch by 4 inch
Pics 3 and 4 are a VV model. Doors on both are too loose, 1 millimeter too narrow.
Using red oak for now, thinking of stacking 14500s for a VV...would have to be about 5 inch tall

They look great Alekos, don't beat yourself up on the loose doors, Oak is serious hard to work with, almost impossible the get a nice smooth and acurate edge because of it's brittle and splintery grain...try Maple or Birch, just as inexpensive as Oak and a lot easier to work with.,,I'd love a nice wood mod, nice work.

Maybe Brad can give some pointers on construction The Grip. He's got that shape down really well.
