Since I began vaping, I suddenly have a pretty bad startle reflex. For example, when I'm sitting quietly at the computer the furnace will click on (not loud) and I get a weird feeling that runs through my head. I, currently vape 6mg of nicotine. Could this be too high? I also still smoke because I can't handle the strangeness I feel when I vape. I fill up my 510 cartrage about 5 times a day with a few drops and I still have my 30mL of juice that I bought in October. Anybody have this problem?

I can't conclusively say what is giving you this creepy startle reflex, but I would venture to guess its more to do with quitting analogs than it is taking up vaping. 6mg is very very small in dose, and it is unlikely you are having overdoses of nicotine. You might want to try using a different liquid from another vendor, just to do a compare and contrast. Unlikely though it may be, this jumpiness could be caused by some component in the liquid itself, not the nicotine.

Are you vaping a Coffee flavor? Once juice I used that was coffee flavored made me a little jumpy, and I theorize it had a high level of caffeine as well as nicotine.

It might be a situation of to little nicotine. (I don't know - just giving you something to think about) Here's my thought - if you quit smoking analogs cold turkey, your nicotine levels would plumment probably resulting in feelings of stress, anxiety, irritablity and jumpiness (at least those were my feelings over the many times of trying to quit smoking....)
If you increased the enic liquid strength (like to 18mg or 24mg) and stopped using the analogs, maybe those feelings would go away....but drink lots of water because vaping dehydrates you quickly. From the studies on nicotine I've read, nicotine as a chemical is not much different from caffeine...and I know I would stuggle without caffeine.

Of course it's possible that you have some sort of PG allergy; if the above doesn't work out for you, find some VG based liquids and go purely on those for a few weeks - I prefer VG based juice myself, though I have no allergy.

I hope this helps, or at least slows down the worrying....

This is the problem I had, initially when I started vaping I would get a head rush from 18mg and especially 24mg. It was almost like a nicotine high. At one point though I noticed complete lack of focus and overall meh feeling and that nic rush feeling kept building. I thought I was getting too much nicotine so I kept reducing dosage. Next day same thing started happening so I said screw it let me put in 24mg and see how that goes. To my surprise I felt great after smoking that I was clearly not getting enough. Now I stick with 18mg and go to 24mg anytime I feel the same symptoms.

Could it possibly be symptoms of another issue you have, but didn't have time to focus on? I have very acute hearing so I tend to hear things others don't, could it be the same for you?
I also used 24mg of nicotine straight away but it left me feeling a little fuzzy and unfocused which I thought was due to the high PG levels in what I had ordered but it turns out after many comparisons that PG doesn't really bother me.
I have concluded it was the high nic amount since I don't think you get that much from analogs all at once {I could be wrong of course} and I chain vape too.
I agree with Slothy maybe you should up your intake of nicotine temporarily.

Hmm, the tiramisu I just got is making me feel a bit ill and jittery. I've been caffeine free for years. The juice has a really strong coffee flavor. I wonder if there is a connection.
