Why stealth vape? There is nothing wrong with vaping! By thinking you need to hide your vaping, you're suggesting that you think you're doing something wrong. You're not. vaping harms no one.

I've never, not anywhere, felt I needed to hide my vaping. This includes at my desk (I sit right outside a VP's office and he can see right into my cube), in meetings with management, in elevators, in restaraunts, dr offices, govt offices -- everywhere I go. In the grocery checkout in front of police. At gun shows, in front of a rabidly non-smoking promoter with sherrifs all around. No one has ever told me I couldn't vape. Why? Because I act like I'm not doing anything wrong. And I'm the least confrontational person you could ever meet.

Act like a victim, you become a victim. If someone asks what you're doing, it's straightforward to explain vaping and demonstrate its harmlessness.

Don't let PC social BS make you less. You're not doing anything wrong! This is a topic that really gets under my skin. Vapers are not criminals!

While I tend to agree with you......and most of the people on this board would agree as well..... I would urge some restraint.

Where does the nicotine go when you exhale vapor?
It goes out into the room, to be inhaled by anyone else nearby. So you are drugging that lady and her baby that are next to you.....or down the hall.....etc.

Now, I bet the amount of nicotine they might get is miniscule.....almost non-existant. That however doesn't really matter to that lady with the baby OR to the people who may legislate your right to vape into an illegal act.

If there were some proof that the vapor, once exhaled, completely and instantaneously dissipated, then I would be an "in your face" public vapor maniac.

The suspension liquid, either VG or PG is great in producing noticeable vapor. The solution to this problem is finding a safe alternative suspension that does not create a visible cloud yet will easily vaporize at 60c and not degrade over time (while offering the same nicotine delivery and throat hit expected by the end user.)

I am guessing there is an easy solution to this, just that no one has taken the time to find it being that the idea behind vaping is getting clouds of vapor...

Well, that was the first step, but there are many of us that want to not draw attention and stealth vape. There is a chemical answer to this problem and I think it can be solved, without having to hold your cloudy breath for 8 seconds.

That said, I'm a n00b and not a chemist, so I am going to try to find a person that understands human consumable atomizable suspensions that might offer an answer to this problem.

Feel free to join the search. This would be a huge product. A work, airport, walking in the middle of rush hour no questions asked stealth e-juice.

Not a replacement to PG or VG, just an alternative when needed.

I screwed up and quoted the wrong post, so i had to type this quote in, and of course being a new member can't make links! Anyway, if anyone finds a US distributor for this low vap liquid, please post it for us. Thanks!

-UPDATE: Did some searching around and came across this:

I ordered some 'stealth juice' from a UK site, it looks like DK bottles and is labeled "Tobacco Special"
I thought it tasted strange, not really to my liking and still produced vapor. I stuck it in the back of my cabinet and just hold the vapor in now when I need to be stealthy

With that mask, Darth, I don't see where you would have a problem just adding an "outbound" filter..... lol.

OK, I'm going out on a limb here... Seriously, I don't vape where I couldn't smoke ( I may someday when really "stuck") but .... why not get up, get exercise, walk, vape outside? No wonder non-smokers are getting so "Anti" about vapers. I understand using vaping as an alternate nic source when in a hospital setting, stuck at the airport, or something like that where you are "stuck" and could also use the gum, lozenge, etc. but geez... don't you get break times? What do the smokers do? I'm not trying to stomp on your rights, but don't give vapers a bad rap. +1 W.Fish... restraint is the wisest thing. If you're stuck in tech support for 4 hours, no break in sight, well maybe a quick lozenge will help.

Actually, maybe you should contact Geoff over at Tasty Vapor about a DYO recipe for Tobacco. I have read his explanations about how soaking a tobacco maceration in PG somehow alters the water molecules and makes them bigger - meaning there is literally no exhale vapor unless one was to add VG to the mix. The vapor is absorbed through the lungs.

How do you vape "outside" when you are flying from Boston to LA and have a connection in Columbus?

Oh, I know how to get outside...

It just takes an hour to get "outside" i.e. parking garage and then back through security and inside.

But, whoops, you have a 40 minute connection.

Sure, most people have the ability to just walk outside. A lot of people in certain situations don't and they should have the right and ability to get the nicotine they need to go about business without guilt or hassle.

After only vaping for 3 days, and now vaping only VG, I have had no problems stealthing it. I take about a half-strength/half-volume draw into my lungs, then complete the draw with fresh air through my nose...then hold for a bit, then slowly exhale.

Managed to do so while sitting in the waiting area of Urban Outfitters while my teenage daughter took forever trying on clothes. I was desperate. :)

The only stealth vaping I do is when I am at the courthouse (I'm a lawyer). When waiting for a judge or during a recess, I'll slip into a stairwell or restroom and grab a few vapes.

As for being out in public, I don't care about what anyone thinks, unless I am on private property and someone in authority asks me to stop. When I'm in a store, a mall, or whatever, I might get a few looks from folks, but who cares? A couple of times I was approached in a restaurant, but then I say, "Oh no, I'm not smoking... this is a personal vaporizer, and it only gives off water vapor." After saying that, they don't bother me.

I vape anywhere I want and nobody says anything. I openly vape in walmart, gas station, grocery store. People just look at you funny. Sometimes they're smart enough to figure out you're not smoking, sometimes not. I love when I know somebody is approaching me to say something and two steps before they get to me I put it in my shirt pocket. LOL. That's the best.
