Looks like they took a page from the Russian and Russian 91% and made an exact copy of the turbine??
From what I gather, they're being made by hcigar. (makers of the very good quality Chi You and Nemesis knock-offs) More than likely, this one will be the same quality...

Yeah, but without those mod-makers, the designs wouldn't exist to be copied...
That's all good and great dude, but when you can buy TV's, Smart phones, computer components, etc that all require much more intelligence and technological ingenuity for less than a stainless steel tube that hold a battery with 2 brass contacts - it's gouging. No way around it. These mod makers are greedy. All you need is a lathe and a drill press and your in business.
I got in on some for $27.50 each, shipped. That price is a little high. Worth it? Not sure yet. Hcigar has been putting out some nice stuff lately though. I've been impressed with the products they are putting out. Doc Dave is ...... about these.

i wouldnt mind a clone but what happens if they dont hit the goal? they refund the money and you still dont have one?

Also wondering with this being such a unique and cool looking piece why is there only 11 supporters?
Anyone know if you could use silica, ekowool, or cotton wicks on this instead of stainless mesh?
