I was gifted a Steam Turbine clone from a member here. Thank you! However, one negative post screw had brown burn marks, as if it had a short at one point. When I went to pull it, it just spun in the threads. I was able to easily slide it out with a pair of tweezers.

The threads look okay, so I am thinking that the screws are the wrong size. Does anyone know the size/pitch of these screws?

My only other option is to take it to a hardware store and stand there trying screws until something fits...

Thanks in advance, and happy New Year!

Take the whole atty with you and tell them I need some tiny bolts for this thing is what I would do. Those guys sell bolts for a living they will be able to narrow it down pretty quickly. You can give pretty good Odds since its made in China its metric. Do you know the Maker? They might use the same screws in a different atty. Or being a counterfeit it might of been bunk from day one. But Im betting if you go to Fastenall or someplace like that you will end up with the right thing.

When you there grab 4 washers also. This makes attaching the wire easier don't forget to get 316 SS screws also.

You might have an option to get Allen head caps or regular screws if you ask.
