Okay, I need to rant. I will preface this by saying two things:
1. I recognize that many, many people have had wonderful experiences with madvapes
2. Only half of this terrible experience is the fault of madvapes
On Thursday I placed an order with madvapes.
On Friday my credit card was charged $108 for my order
By Saturday my order had still not shipped. (I read here that orders placed on Friday were received on Saturday so something was obviously wrong with my order.)
MadVapes keeps bankers' hours so when I realized there was a problem I had no way to get in touch with anyone so I was forced to submit a ticket and wait for someone to get to my message on Monday.
Yesterday a rep from MadVapes contacted me to tell me that there was a glitch in their system and for some reason my order, while paid for, did not transfer over to the shipping side of their organization. He was very nice about it, but that doesn't change the fact that if this were a smaller company with more of a personal touch and less of an automated set up this would have been much less likely to happen.
Yesterday my order was finally shipped and I received a tracking number.
Today, when checking the tracking online from work, I saw that my package was delivered and I was relieved and excited to get home, check my mail and dive into my new supplies.
An hour ago when I got home from work I checked my mail and to my surprise, no package. I went to my door thinking that it might have been left there, but, no, not there either.
I call 800-ASKUSPS, yell at a robot for way too long only to finally get a scripted human (small step up from robot) who tells me that she will file my complaint and someone should get back to me in two days to tell me what happened if they are able to figure it out.
So this order that I am in much need of (I'm down to one good battery and three cartos) that I hoped to get by Saturday has still not and may never arrive.
I have no idea what to do at this point. I can't afford to reorder everything and I can't wait much longer for supplies without going back to analogues. This is an order I was hoping to get soon after I placed in on Thursday, but due to glitches in the MadVapes system and our ever-dependable postal service, I seem destined to never get this order.
