Steeping DIY ?

OK i mixed up a couple flavors today. Just want some advise please!

I mixed the 5 mil batches and then threw them in the crock pot. 150 deg according to my candy thermometer.
During the heating i taped some old film canisters onto a jig saw blade and shook the crap out of them.
Repeated the process for about 4 hrs.

3 turned darker colors.

Should i leave them alone for a couple days? I increased the flavorings a little from the last time (they were lacking)
Will letting them sit alone for a few days help the flavors increase ? there good but dont seem right.

Im trying my best to get some good flavors but nothing is biting my buds and saying LOVE ME !

Did you taste them before steeping? What brands and percentages are you using?
It's difficult to say whether steeping will help without more info.

Sweet strawberry CAP 15% Was ok before steeping but not great

Lemon meringue CAP 20% didnt taste.

Double apple FW 15% Was ok but thought it should be a little stronger than the 10% i had.(seemed about the same)

Vanilla cupcake TFA 20% Did not taste But after this its not that yummy and not very sweet.....kinda disappointing

Mix all are 10 nic 50-50 Pg-Vg Single flavors
I just dont undersatnd why i cant get a single flavor to work for me (other than the tide water tobac) I mean if i buy somthing the flavor is right there. Not like ...... what flavor is this again ?

Im using a Mini pro 2&3 for my tanks coils are 1.8 and 2.0 VW.

I made some berry flavors last week (blackberry, blueberry and a mix of the two). Vaped some right away and seemed to be good. Have let them steep since then and tried the blackberry last night. Seems to have lost a little flavor... Will try another batch with a little higher percentage.
Its hard to let them steep! I want to dig in and try them!!!

let them sit for a few days.. things will change in them. you cant rush that process. heat is very good but then wait for natural steeping to occur and go from there. It takes practice and testing. you will get there. it just takes some time. I use to use the pro mini but dont think much of it other than looks. you might try getting into rebuildables where you can really taste the flavor you are creating...

If you need to sweeten I use Marshmallow. just a little and more full body add a little vg.. I think your percentages are ok where they are..

JIGSAW!! BRILLIANT!!

The crockpot works pretty good for me. My mixes are usually vapable right away, but they still keep getting better for a few weeks. Sometimes I get a flavor fade the 2nd day (go figure) but it comes back by the third day and really starts to taste good.

I can't say about the other flavors (haven't tried them) but TFA Vanilla Cupcake will get better with time. Steeping with heat/crockpot/UC is good but they still need a little time as well. Good luck!

Time is your friend. If the flavors are not to your liking after steeping, try a bit of saline solution. For some reason tit seems to make the fruits pop a bit more for us.

Like what kind of saline are you talking about? Eye drops (pure)?

And how much per mil?

Waiting wouldnt be hard but.......I have no juice other than whats sitting steeping sooooo. yeah lol

BTW anyone know what % for Cap Apple pie? Im thinking 15-20% but dont want to kill the flavor
