Give it a try... some juice responds to heat others just time. In others words there's no one way to steep juice that applies to all juices.

With thousands of different juice makers and the variability of flavoring agents and additives being used... it's impossible to say this or that works.

Ok so after a full day experiment yesterday...

On a 10ml 50vg /50pg 0% nic - fresh bottle of banana split from mbv & oblivion ( fruit mix) from jeffco vapes - straight from the mail-

for 8hrs - 90 degree florida heat in tinted car away from sun. and shaken hard after..

Resulted in:

1) color change- went from clear to caramel color
2) viscosity change- thick to watery ( although this was temporary & thickened significantly later)
3) taste change- both juices benefited significantly from this - flavors were mixed much better and was equal to 2 weeks steeping.

All in all this method is an easy quick way to steep your juice.. Approved!!

ZERO nic...a whole different mixture! (I don't even think it counts as 'steeping' without the nic - the whole point is that the nic oxidizes!)

0% nic, florida type heat ?

Crockpot at 150 degrees for 4 hours is probably more reliable. It might get hot enough in the car to cause the nic to degrade!

Hmmm
I've never heard about the nicotine oxidation theory of steeping, but it seems if his juice did improve he's just come up with some evidence that there is something else going on.
And here's a chart of car temps to compare to crock pot temps, for the record cuisinart crockpot says in manual High = 212 F, Low = 200 F, Simmer = 185 F, Keep Warm = 165 F.
