Hello, I recently got the Extreme Ice with max vg from mount baker Vapor and I did some hot water steeping in those plastic bottles they give you. I put the bottle in a microwave safe plastic bag and submerged it in hot water (hot water from the faucet that I could keep my fingers in for a couple seconds before it burned). I vaped a whole tank of it (4 ml) and it turned out really good. I am worried now about harmful chemicals that may have leeched into my e-juice during the 15 minutes it was in hot water. Should I be concerned about it? I felt no harmful effects from it.

80 degrees is not all that hot. I think I shower hotter than 80 degrees. I measured my crock pot on low and it was 115. I let it heat, with juices, for an hour and then turn it off and let them float for 4ish hours with the lid on. That plus a week or two in the drawer seems my happy spot. There has been a time or three that I have put a bottle back in the drawer, though.

They didn't specify, but reasonably certain they meant 80 Celsius. 80 Fahrenheit is neither warm enough to release the sketchier components of some plastics NOR aid in aging our juices.

was it one of those clear plastic or "milky" plastic bottles... LDPE ( the milky colored one) is safe for what you have done... no need for worry... the clear plastic ones may contain BPH's and could be released into the fluid when over heated...
I've read this before... and find it odd that most of the DIY flavorings I order seem to come in the hard, clear bottles... OSDIY is the only place I've found that uses the softer, milky bottles.

I did read somewhere too that the LDPE bottles allow air to slowly enter through the plastic due to the material so oxidation can occur.
