Question on the steeping process of e-juice. I'm to the point where I'm ordering ejuice 3-4 weeks before actually using. I've seen many methods of steeping ejuice and was wondering what I really need to do if I have bottles of ejuice setting around for that 3-4 weeks (or longer).

Is it fine just to leave the bottles in my closet for that time (3+ weeks) or do I need to open the bottles for a period of time, or what exactly to do. I buy most of my ejuice through 3 online vendors and B&M store I get to every 3-4 months. I will go through 30mL bottles in about two weeks after I start them.

I guess my real question is if I just leave the bottles alone for 3-4 weeks, use them up in around 2 weeks, am I getting the best flavor from my juices or do I need to do something different?

I just put my fresh eliquids in the toolbox that I have for my vape gear, caps on, no breathing or burping. How long you steep depends on how you perceive the flavor. I tend to favor cream, custard and bakery flavors, and for myself I find that they benefit from a good long steep - at least a couple of weeks or more. We have also have some eliquids that we enjoy fresh out of the mailbox. I currently have several flavors that have been steeping since November, because I usually order eliquids for my daughter and myself every few months, when our stock is getting depleted.

I taste my juices fresh out of the box first. If a flavor tastes like it needs some steeping, or I feel like the flavor will improve with time, I'll throw it in a dark cabinet for a week, and then re-taste, until I'm happy with it.

But if a flavor is great right out of the box, I'll rock it without a second thought!

well considering that premade juices have no solids in them.... steeping isnt going to help... you want to age the juices, temper them.... and as far as aging... that all depends on the way the liquid was manufactured, with what ingredients, and one needs to take into consideration how old the products were when initially mixed.... way too many variables involved to lump all liquids into a common venue ....

Steeping method and timing is purely a subjective thing.. It varies by vaper, by juice and by method of vapage. There is NO correct method, there is only what works best for you for that particular juice. Some, if not MOST, juices are vapable on day 1, some,if not most, get better if aged/steeped/fermented prior to use.. Some juices are off the shelf, juices and some are mixed to order. Off the shelf juices may be well steeped, by default, yet could still use a bit of aging with the top off, to vent/evaporate excess alcohol.
