I placed my first order from Ms. T's website today. I have a couple of questions:

1) How long should I steep the products?

2) What is the shelf life?

I know that keeping it away from heat & sunlight will make it last longer (I plan on keeping it in a closet). But when stored properly, is shelf life like a year, or more like a month or two? Just curious . . .

Thanks,

Randy :vapor:

Steeping it depends on the juice . Sugar cookie doesnt really need steeping but snickerdoodle is best after 1-2 weeks. Shelf life isnt really that important with msts juices since they will never last that long. you will be done with it in less than a month usually . They are good for about a year technically just like most juices.

Welcome to vaping and Ms T's, you're gonna LOVE her flavors!

I usually open mine to steep (if needed) and to prevent accidental spills I sit them in a small glass, shot glass, etc.. whatever size is needed to help keep the bottles upright in case they get bumped. Nothing is sadder than going to your secure steep spot only to find a bottle got bumped and half of it has spilled. As some have already said, try the juices first, some really don't need steeping, others really do.

@ Str8 *gasp* Snickerdoodle gets better after steeping??? Oh my, I vaped it straight from the mailbox and thought it was heaven! I cannot imagine better, I'll make sure I have a change of shorts handy if I manage to leave some alone long enough to steep lol

Snickerdoodle is good unsteeped but then when steeped its heavenly. The vanillas and creamyness dont really show until about 1-2 weeks . When it turns almost red is when its best

Does the sugar cookies have cinnamon? I hate cinn in juice for some reason. This kills me because I heard that Ms.t's Snickerdoodle wasthe best. Ordered some and vouldnt stand it because all I tasted was the cinn. Weird because I like cinn in my food, just not in my juice. Nothing against Ms.t.

So. I have ordered and tried a bunch of her other flavors and all are great. I usually let all my top quality homemade juices steep for two wks before using. Cap off, sitting in a container. I give them a shake every day or so. Any earlier and I usually just get that chemical raw taste. Great for you if you enjoy without steeping, I'm jealous. I have to wait.

I have eight 30ml bottles steeping at the moment.

Ehhh, it happens, unfortunately. Back in October, my first order from Ms T, I bought her #1 best selling juice (not snickerdoodle). It was even on backorder. To this day that juice is the only one I don't like. Luckily people were glad to take it off my hands.

I'm pretty sure sugar cookie doesn't have cinnamon in it. I think it's a light cookie spice you may be tasting. After about a week or two it should go away. If it's already been that long than maybe it's just not for you. Fortunately, Ms T has soo many juices you are sure to find one that you can't live w/out. =)

Another question regarding steeping:

So do juices with a more complex flavor profile (multiple different flavorings in the same bottle) typically require a longer steep, than say, something like a simple fruit flavor that isn't mixed with as many ingredients? I guess what I'm asking is if the length of steep might somehow be related to the number of ingredients in a bottle.

My pea sized brain:D wants to think this is true, but I don't really know.

i wouldn't say that the more flavors in one bottle needs more time than one simple flavor. i know for a fact (fact according to MY tastebuds) that the simple flavor of just cookie or plain coffee need days to settle into the correct flavor. i also remember mandarin orange sitting for about 2 weeks before i enjoyed it. the almond in almond toffee crunch coffee was the only flavor that didnt show up until about week 2. but the bottles that have a few flavors in them, shake shake shake before you drip or fill a carto.

Lind of in the same boat with you, Paulie P., as far as cinnamon goes, but I'm willing to give Snickerdoodles a try, to change my mind (fingers crossed). I'll go by the vets here, and let it steep for a few weeks before trying.
