I don't know if this is the right place to ask this (or should I still be in the New Members section?), but here goes:

ABOUT how long does everyone let their "cream" and "cheesecake" flavors sit before they're good? I have a few flavors I got to try, and I'm not getting the cream and cheesecake notes yet. They're GOOD, but my creamsicle tastes like really nice orange (but no cream) and my black cherry cheesecake tastes like really good cherries (but no cheesecake...). I've had them about a week so far, and I'm not sure how long they need to age.

Some of the other flavors I got are absolutely DREAMY, and I need to get BIG bottles of them now, but I'm dying to try the creamsicle and cheesecake (I also got plain cheesecake e-juice so I can make my own cheesecake of whatever flavor I want ;) ). The flavors I got with chocolate in them are to die for, and have so far kept me OUT of the Ghirardelli's dark chocolate chip bag, which all by itself is a miracle! LOL! Add to that, I haven't had a cigarette in two weeks now, and it's unbelievable!

Steep them as long as you feel is necessary. I would sample a little each week until you taste what you're looking for. There's really no set aging times for any juice. Typically, with creams, vanillas, and bakery flavors, most people will have them aging for at least a month.

OK, thanks, that's what I needed to know. I should have said, mine are max VG as well, so I'll leave these a few more weeks. It's gonna be hard! I got the juice from Ares e-cigs (she and I belong to the same homesteading forum), and I THINK she gets her flavors from Capella's. I didn't ask, but I suspect it. I could LIVE on the strawberry! LOL! And the chocolate covered strawberry for dessert! Oh, and the chocolate mint, which is just like sitting here and eating a whole box of Andes Candies. I'm in HEAVEN!

Having basically no experience with other juices yet except a couple from Mt. Baker, that's not saying much, is it? Well, as long as I'M happy, that's all that matters to me, right? ;)

It can take days, weeks, months...with some juices you just never know. I always let my DIY concoctions sit at least a month. I've had some juices it took as long as 4-5 months to get where they "should be". Even some of the premade premium juices I've bought I had to steep for quite a while. Be sure to shake them at least once every day or two, that helps.

In case you order again from Mt. Baker Vapor, Lannie, know that even there basic flavors require 2-4 weeks of steeping because they make them the day you order. I am referring to basic flavors like fruit, fruit drinks, and candies. Anything with any type of milk, cream, or worse-custard will take significantly longer. I have never ordered from the company you mentioned and have no experience with them; however, as a general rule of thumb you can ask whether they make them the day you order them or are "pre-steeped". Pre-steeped is just another way of saying they keep stock on hand, but a lot of companies put it that way because they don't want to put it in your head you could be getting really old juice. Companies that keep stock on hand for a while are normally good to go on the fruits and candies and drinks in a few days. If however, they make it as they go you really have to plan ahead.

Bill, I actually asked if there was any pre-steeped available, and the answer I got was no, because everyone wants a slightly different nicotine level, PG/VG ratio, etc. So both orders, Mt. Baker and Ares were made up the day I ordered. I purposely tried to order things from Mt. Baker that wouldn't need a lot of steeping, simply because it was my first order and the e-cig was brand new and I wanted to try it right away. So I have a bunch of raspberry and various mints! LOL! They're two weeks old now, but they were relatively good right away. Not that I have any experience to compare to, but it tasted OK to me.

I'm trying the trick of heating water in a cup, not to boiling, then plunking a bottle in and letting it cool down to room temp, shake the snot out of it, and do it again (several times) this morning with my black cherry cheesecake. The black cherry flavor is awsome, but there was no cheesecake yet, so I'm hoping this will speed things along a little bit. I love cheesecake, and I think a plain cheesecake flavor mixed with some fruit is going to be one of my favorites. Right now, this minute, my favorites of the Ares liquids are chocolate mint (Andes candies flavor), chocolate covered strawberry, plain strawberry, and peach with a little bittersweet chocolate flavor added to it. I like chocolate on everything, so even if I get a flavor I don't particularly care for, if I just add chocolate, I'll love it! ROFL! I can't lose, as long as I don't run out of chocolate!

Jay, I'm already excited over vape-mail, even though there have only been a couple of deliveries so far. Soon enough, I will be totally obsessed! :D
