I've steeped their regular line in the past to get rid of the ethanol aftertaste because I'm very sensitive to it, and it worked mostly like a charm. I got some Absolute Virgin samplers in the mail today which are ethanol-free. 2 of them (Naked Vanilla and Lemon Chiffon) already taste great and pretty spot on, but the Original Sin (red apples) tastes weirdly off to me. I've eaten red apples before and this is simply not what it tastes like. Would steeping help in this particular case or am I just out of luck?

Are red apples rare in Nederland? Also, note that there are a large number of different red apples, who knows what red apple they are talking about(though I'd guess red delicious(and I would imagine it should taste at least similar enough to what you have eaten))
I have only had one flavor from them and I bought it in a store and it was already over a month old so I didn't have to go through any steeping, best of luck.

Apples are really common here and we have a variety of red apple kinds available. I've eaten several types of red apple and I just don't discern the apple in this particular flavor. It only bothers me because all of the Virgin Vapor fruit flavors I've tried are spot on for me. I'll leave it alone for a few weeks to see what happens.
