How long does it usually take for the bakery flavors to steep before they taste good?

No idea, but I would expect bakery flavors are more complex and would require more steeping than normal.
It depends on the vendor, in my experience. But, in general, I let bakery/dessert flavors steep a minimum of 2 weeks, sometimes up to 4 or longer if there is alcohol content. I can vape Plume Room desserts in 2 weeks, HHV at 2, Ahlusion at 2+, Alice in Vapeland takes longer. The longest I had to steep a bakery type juice was EC Blends and I think those took 6 weeks.
